Glenbrook fails to maintain their properties.
April 9, 2021Do not move in here without thoroughly inspecting the apartment! Moved in here a year ago and it was not at all like the pictures. The windows do not close all the way- this led to energy losses in the summer and winter as well as bugs getting into the apt. The elevator is jerky and is not level with the floor when the door opens. There is not enough dumpsters for the residents' trash. Water occasionally leaks from the ceiling above the shower. The fire place did not work for several months. The ...floors are not even & are spongey/sinking. You can feel parts are broken underneath the carpet. The hallways and elevator often have trash and are not well maintained. We brought all of these issues up within the first few months of living here several times. All they did to address the window issue was to put plastic wrap on the windows in winter but nothing was fixed. The rent here is too high for them not to be fixing anything. These apartments are a scam. Do not move here!!! Also- they have been using Covid as a reason not to keep the pool or gym open. However, we recently had a Covid Exposure alert via Wi exposure notification app and were instructed to quarantine for a week & get tested on day 6. We emailed the property manager with this information but they still sent people that same week to do a "fire safety" inspection in our apt. Apparently they do not care about their workers either because if they did they would have rescheduled the "fire safety" inspection for our unit until after we got the covid test. Additionally, after one of my cats passed, they kept charging pet rent for 4-5 months even though we kept emailing + telling them to take it off. Eventually they gave us a credit for it & took it off but it should not have taken that long.Property Manager Responded

December 4, 2018This complex is very nasty an not up to whats being said. My daughter has lived here for a uear. They have bugs never anseer phone an door bells have be broken for 7 months or more. Now the front door is broke an any one can walk in. There are a lot of women an children that live in thia building an any one can come in an possible assault someone. Smh tried to call office no answer only to walk in 5 min later an she was just sitting at desk i guess phone is on do not disturb. An she always say i ...put it in but work is still jot done. 2 women must have heard me an turnes around an said i dont want to rent here. Good ots a waistline of time. But aleays putting signs up saying cars towed at residents expense well will the assault that might happen with door broke be the same. the glenbrook
September 5, 2015the glenbrook apartment has a unique 1 and 2 bd room floor plan. That is different from other apartments. The glenbrook has really nice amenities including a pool, a computer lab,louge/tv area and cardio/weight room. The glenbrook sits right on a lake and has great scenery. The management and maintenance are great and works fast to fix any problems or concerns you may have. the neighbors in the building for the most part are very quiet and respectful, the neighbors across the street from the ...glenbrook are not. Another downside to the glenbrook is the rent changes every month by a few dollars depending on how much water and trash is used every month. Reasonable rent paired with great amenities including tennis courts, a pool, work out facilities, and meeting rooms, make this the perfect place for any renter.
