Move-in and Move-out issues, unprofessional property manager, deceptive
May 26, 2026 - Reseña de Apartments.comAt move-in, apartment was improperly cleaned despite being told it would be professionally cleaned. Several maintenance issues within the first couple weeks. My roommate moved out early, which they were notified. They threaten to charge me month-to-month after my lease ended until my roommate gave written notice even though I gave them mine. The property manager tried to hold me liable for replacing old hardwood floors for natural cracks in them that existed previously. They’ll use deceptive, ...unfair practices to avoid paying you your full security deposit. They get away with it by the poorly defined “beyond normal wear and tear” language, which they will tell you you have to be living there a certain number of years for certain things to be considered normal wear and tear. Withheld nearly $300 from my deposit for cleaning fees despite me having cleaned thoroughly. They claim to get the carpets inspected by a 3rd party provider for every unit at move-out regardless of condition at tenant's expense. This is not explicitly discussed in the lease. I was punished despite leaving the apartment in better condition than what I received it. You're charged monthly pest-control but they don't automatically provide this service every month. No real security, just the maintenance man driving around in his golf cart intermittently. Security cameras only capture parts of the parking. Dog poop everywhere. Sydne showed me around the property and made the decision to move really simple. She was super friendly and helpful. I am planning to move in September so i know i started looking very soon. Most places would not even show me anything or just seemed uninterested in me as a renter due to the timeframe im looking to move. This is my 4th apartment tour and last stop on my apartment ...search and im upset i didn't come here first lol. June 8, 2025 - Reseña de Apartments.comFrustrating that they took my entire deposit and listed multiple items to be fixed which did not require fixing, yet they decided to charge me for their services. Painting, cleaning a microwave that I already cleaned the day I left, cleaning a fireplace that literally never got used at all. Trash removal fee of 25 dollars per bag totalling 50 dollars. There wasn't anything left in the apartment, so how on earth did you come up with a charge for two trash bags??? September 15, 2021 - Reseña de Apartments.comIt’s okay, but things could be better. Management is difficult to contact sometimes. We have an online resident portal to directly message management, but I don’t know how often they actually check their messages. You might be better off calling them. (I will say, if you ever have a maintenance issue, maintenance is very very fast to respond and fix the issue). There’s often pet waste on the ground, and that’s because pet owners don’t clean up after their animals. Also, some pet owner’s don’t ...leash their pets, so if you plan on living here be very cautious of that. Neighbors can be very loud. I don’t know if the walls are thin, but I have been woken out of my sleep multiple times because my neighbors was yelling. Laundry room could be improved by adding a quarter machine. There is an app that allows you to pay for your washer and dryer loads on your phone, but it is barely functional. You’re better off going to an actual laundromat. The water pressure is a little weak; however, other residents may not experience this issue. I feel like I should mention some good things, so I guess some benefits to living here is that you have access to a pool, tennis court, and fitness center. Management sometimes host gatherings for residents to get to know each other. After telling Jose that I was taking meds for sinus infection, he checked my furnace filter that hadn't been changed in years. Even though several work orders had been put in for the furnace not shutting off and making noises. The furnace was repaired without the notice of a filthy black filter.
