DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!
August 8, 2023All these people did was change the name of the apartment complex. Nothing gets done at all. It’s roach infested and they don’t even have a pest control that comes. Been under “new management” at least four times, takes maintenance forever to fix anything. The Gate at the front has not been working since I moved in. My ceiling fan fell on my husband leg and they said it was our fault and took them three weeks to come remove the fan. The top step of our stairs fell on my husband foot as he was ...coming home from work and they did nothing about it also took them a week to come and fix that. I needed to move in right away and they made sure they were able to get things on the roll for me to be able to move into my new home with no issues. New Management has Stepped Up
July 18, 2023When I first became a resident in December of 2021 it started off pretty rocky with old management when it came to providing a good living experience. This was due to lack of urgency on work orders and accommodating to certain needs. Since new management I haven’t had to worry about those previous issues. Work orders are answered with a quickness and they have cleaned up the pool and other amenities to make Terra at Highgate a great neighborhood to live in.Reseña de Apartments.com

Improvements at Terra at Highgate
July 14, 2023When I first moved here a year & half ago within three months I wanted to move. The old management had no clue how to managed this place. After a terrible incident occurred a new management company took over. The first thing they did was hire a security company 24/7. Spoke to the police department to patrol the grounds at they're description, and evicted the undesirable. This new management company cleaned up the community, refurbished the apartments, also very soon the front gate will be ...closed I am happy and comfortable to say it's much safer place to live. Horrible Living Conditions
June 30, 2022The living conditions in The Park at Highgate Apartments are deplorable. I moved into an apartment with a 7 month lease and it was the worst experience of my life. I was without working air conditioning for a total of 12 weeks. And because I had to keep the AC fan running non-stop to keep the apartment from reaching 90 degrees, I paid $200-400 electric bills for 3 months. The windows and sliding glass door have no screens on them either. Between the broken AC, the roach infestation, and the ...disgusting water backing up into the sink, it was impossible to use the kitchen. The dishwasher wasn't even secured under the counter so it moved around. Roaches were everywhere—in the microwave, inside the oven, in the beds, the sofa... And my apartment always smelled like weed from the neighbors. Every time it rained, water ran down the wall. There was mildew and cracks in the ceiling where the leak was. I submitted numerous work orders for issues in the apartment and they would mark them complete when they were never addressed. The only issue addressed was the AC, but every time I called or submitted a work order, it would be weeks before the AC company would finally show up and put a bandaid on the problem, only for it to stop working again 2-3 weeks later (I don't blame the maintenence crew for this). I was told by a neighbor that the people who lived in my unit before me moved out after 2 weeks because the roaches were so bad. I finally moved out with a month and a half left on my lease. I emailed the CEO of Operations who had the property manager call me. Shandra verbally assured me that I would be released from the remainder of the lease (1 1/2 months) with no money owed and that my deposit would be returned. My rent account is still being charged and no one will reply to my emails asking for confirmation of our conversation in writing. When I moved out, I had to throw out my sofa, beds, clothes, and expensive bags. The Park at Highgate was horrible for my mental health and has cost me A LOT of money to replace things I had no choice but to trash. Do not move in here, even if it's only temporary. Poor Management and communication
February 3, 2022I applied to this complex months ago. Rent went up $300 more after and still proceeded. I was told I was approved, given an address paid for renters insurance and was then told I didn’t make enough, yet that wasn’t the initial amount prior to applying.
