You have to know what your getting when you look at the price. Let’s start off with the area, it’s clean, safe and there are a lot of great places to eat in the area. This is my first time living on my own, I’m new to the area, from Virginia and I’m used to a certain type of an apartment. So my expectations might be a little out of reach, hence i brought up the price. That being said, it’s only been a month since I’ve been here and there were a few problems I ran into and I have not been here
...long enough for these problems. My house was not equip for cable… the cable is not where you think the cable should be, it took 2 weeks for comcast to make my apartment internet ready. They had to punch a hole from the basement too my apartment where the furnace is and run the wire from there. I’m going to assume that is how the mouse had gotten into my apartment. I’m on the second floor so I wasn’t so sure how the mouse got into my apartment in the first place. The exterminator had come and They patched the hole up and I’m going to assume they made my house mouse free. Although, there was miscommunication on there end with what exactly they did to exterminate the problem. Secondly, every time i turned on my heat, it would blow cold air… maintenance came and fixed the problem and also brought me a portable heater in the mean time. Thirdly, I’m going to assume due too all of the rain we been having the last few days is why I saw a huge roach in my bathroom. My tub nor does my sink have a stopper to prevent this, this is still a problem they have yet to fix so now i have to put a bowl over the brains when I’m not home. Finally, every time I go into my kitchen i smell hints of gas. According to maintenance i don’t have a gas stove it’s electric so They’re assuming it’s impossible for me to be smelling gas… ok I’ll let them have that…. In conclusion, i really like my apartment outside of the early hiccups it’s really nice it’s clean and whenever I have a problem resident services is always there to attend to my needs.
