February 26, 2025 - Reseña de Apartments.comI have lived here for 3 years. Maintenance is super quick with requests (always within 24 hours). Some tenants leave things (like clothes) strung throughout the property and they stay there for weeks. Pretty quiet. They raised rent pretty significantly every year (over $100 a month). May 6, 2024 - Reseña de Apartments.comIf you want to deal with an apartment that was NEVER turned over. Copious amounts of pet hair from the previous tenant painted over. Oven door broke, food spilled in the pantry, microwave not cleaned. In the summer months hope your AC doesn’t stop working cause they won’t come and fix it for several days.Property Manager Responded

Rude office staff, cheap old apartment
July 23, 2022 - Reseña de Apartments.comThe office staff is incredibly rude and dismissive, especially the manager, Kerilee. The apartment is old, really old. The countertops are basically paper as well as the cabinets. A prior tenant damaged the inside of the cabinet and it's warped and smelly. They paint a strange pale yellow in the apartment and it's over everything, even the blinds. They didn't clean the apartment and I found sharp metal wire that I stepped on. You’re paying for the community. Not the apartment. Still not worth it.
April 20, 2022 - Reseña de Apartments.comI moved in with a 14mo lease and when my lease was about to expire, the renewal lease rent price was over 23% higher than what I was currently paying. Well into the 4 digits a month for a 680sqft… No thanks. Found a 2300 sqft home for only $200 more than that. When you move out (because you will), pay for the apartment cleaning because they charge an ABSURD AMOUNT for cleaning individual items and they will find a reason to “clean” some items. $15 for laundry room, $25 for a stove (when we ...already cleaned it) quickly adds up past the amount it would have cost to pay for the cleaning. Also, you’re forced into a $70/mo for internet you HAVE to pay through them with no way out. Also, there’s an obnoxious loud exhaust car than revs up his engine for literally 10min when leaving or coming back (at late hours) that you can hear throughout the entire complex. Other than that, the maintenance staff was really nice and persistent with getting issues solved. But really, just move into a van and park it around Cornelius if you want to live in this area. August 25, 2020 - Reseña de Apartments.comsign your lease at all the fees they tell you they have when you move out, but you brush past it thinking that they just want to make sure the place is great for the next tenant. 14 months later, I get a move out statement that has me replacing a whole new carpet. Mind you, the carpet was totally clean and there were no odors. Apparently they lift up the carpet after every move, no matter how clean the carpet looks at the top. This was never told to me prior to signing a lease. Totally ...predatory. They also charged me for a whole new $75 blind that was already broken when I moved in. I was charged over $1000 at move out. Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic. Yes, I am finding a whole new apartment in a new city and have to pay first months rent at the same time they are asking me for $1000. I have never lived anywhere where they replace the entire carpet for stains UNDERNEATH the carpet. DO NOT MOVE HERE, THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE TRUE! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU RIDICULOUS FEES AT MOVE OUT. Have a lawyer on retainer because apparently they have no problem going to court. If you haven't moved out yet, DOCUMENT AND TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING.Leer Más

I never had a problem about anything when it came to management. The community was so peaceful, clean and respectful, I loved it here. I was sad when it was time to leave. Going downhill
March 30, 2020 - Reseña de Apartments.comIf you want to live in a community where your concerns dont matter then this is the place for you. My family and i moved back for a 2nd time due to our first experience being pretty good as we lived here a little under 2 years however when we move back its quite the disappointment. The apartment was not cleaned just fresh carpet put down. Maintence is short with you and rude and a little slow they mark work orders complete even though they never came to your apartment to fix anything and tends ...to walk into apartment without warning or permission and they due the bare minimum its.pretty sad i liked it better when the maintenance guy Nick was here! also the cable Which is $80 seems a bit ridiculous i believe spectrum should be optional not mandatory. Another con the new place we moved into seems very old there was rot growing around the window seals as well as under the computer desk. The fan glass shields also seems very outdated also if u live in the back more towards the compactor you will have no service. Other than that the apt is pretty spacious. March 28, 2020 - Reseña de Apartments.comThe Good: -Large 2 bedroom units with a really great layout -Maintenance is top notch. -Grounds, pool, workout center, grill, etc are very nice. -Pet policy. No breed restrictions on dogs. -Tons of parking. -Lack of trash valet is positive for me, may be a con for you. -Internet is fast, 400 MB/Sec I think, and stable. The Bad: -EXTREMELY expensive for the in unit amenities. Cheap flooring, cheap cabinets, cheap countertops, and cheap appliances. I am in an upgraded unit as well. -Very large ...increase in rent from year 1 to 2. -Forced to pay for the aforementioned internet and cable. -Windows have huge amounts of condensation on them leading to puddles of standing water on the sills and mildew all around the frame. My editorializing on it. Unless I didn't do my research, MAA operate 2 of very few apartment complexes in the CLT region that allows "aggressive breeds". Because of this they are able to charge rent that is totally unrealistic. Other places provide similar grounds and nicer units for similar or lower prices.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded
