ROACH INFESTATION
May 22, 2024ROACH INFESTATION. Just moved in yesterday from another PTLA property. Wanted a change of scenery so we’re new to Walnut Creek. During move in there was a huge bug unalive on the restroom floor, I swept it up assuming it was a beetle. While giving us the keys we saw a bug dashing across the living room floor, the landlord quickly picked it up & placed it outside stating it’s a cricket. Now I’m unboxing my toddler & I’s belonging & notice a HUGE roach in the bedroom, then another in the kitchen ...cabinet crawling around, obviously this place is roach infested. I went & purchased foggers & RAID, & im freaked out to return to the unit. I feel very much deceived & grossed out. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyoneLeer MásReseña de Apartments.com
This place is a joke
December 14, 2019Do yourself a favor and move anywhere else. The biggest regret of my life was moving into this place. Here is a nice list of reasons why: 1. Walls began to crack immediately after moving in (on every wall in every room), to the point where you could stick multiple fingers through the wall. It took 6 months for us to even get the onsite manager inside of our apartment to look at them. Maintenance is a joke as well. She said she will take care of it (she never did). 2. When we did the initial walk ...through, the carpets in the bedroom were clean, but after we signed the lease, the apartment manager said she needed to install the new bedroom closet door, and when we moved in the carpets were all stained black from the workers and never cleaned (we had to pay for the carpets to be cleaned when we moved out even though they were spotless besides all the black stains from the workers). 3. Most of our windows did not come with screens, and although we constantly asked the manager for some, it took them over 7 months to get them to buy us some, and the bathroom screen did not fit and constantly fell off, and the managers response was to super glue it on... 4. This was my mistake for not checking in the first place, but the apartment building is so old that they only have two pronged outlets, so all your electronics that require three pronged outlets, you need to get converters for, which stick out and hang loose when plugged in, which is a major fire hazard itself. 5. As said before the walls are super thin, and you can hear EVERYTHING from every apartment around you. Dude talking on a cell phone? Oh yeah, you can probably hear the person on the line too. 6. We had a homeless person sleeping in our car port, to the point that we could not park our car in the spot, and even though we called the police, they couldn't do anything unless the site manager told them to, but oh look three days of calling her and no answer. Eventually, our fourth call to the police, one came over and just asked the lady to leave, and she finally did. Apartment manager never responded. 7. Parking was a disaster, people from other apartment buildings parked in our lot, and my spot I paid $45 extra every month for was constantly taken by someone. Apartment manager never did anything. 8. Before we signed the lease (November 2018), that the pool would be completed soon for use, it wasn't completed until about August of 2019 when summer was over and it was closed.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
