How do I loathe thee... let me count the ways. The honeymoon phase at the 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment was gone fairly quickly. The kitchen cabinets aren't deep enough so the doors don't close due to this. Dishwasher leaves horrible spots on dishes despite using Jet-Dry.
Bathroom #1 - Leak in the ceiling. Shower causes the carbon monoxide detector to go off. Cabinet under the sink smells musty.
Bathroom #2 - Shower leaked. Maintenance ripped it out and replaced it. Neighbor above us
...walks heavy so the exhaust fan is hanging from the ceiling. That's ok. It didn't work.
You'll save on electricity since there aren't many permanent light fixtures.
The smoke alarms like to cry "wolf" despite new batteries.
Our car gets a shower nightly from the lawn sprinklers. Not so good for the finish on your car. Leaves horrible spots on the car.
You pay a monthly fee for pest control. Their pest spray doesn't work on ants, fleas or earwigs. These are plentiful and most unwelcome!
Like to hang out in the sauna? You'll love the bedroom then because if you sleep with the door shut, the A/C doesn't cool you down. (Yes, the vents are open.) Buy a floor fan.
Other than that, it's ok. A roof over our head for a season. Time to move on.
