If I can say absolutely anything that gets through to anyone, simply put; avoid this complex. Not only have we had issues since we moved in, the staff all around has shown that they do not care about what we put up with. The take money off our rent but they don’t fix the problems causing it. Several leaks in the ceiling, being told that there is asbestos in the walls and ceiling yet they allow us to have a hole in the ceiling. My girlfriend’s car was broken into and when we called to notify them,
...they never even returned our call. Each and every time I call with these issues, I’m told the same thing; “I don’t know when we can fix it but I can call you as soon as I have an update.” I have never once got a call from any of them. I’ve spoke directly with their corporate office and they are no better. The renovations of this apartment are like a lemon car; they made it look nice but everything is messed up once you look closer. Messed up electrical sockets, very poor paint jobs, doors that don’t properly lock, windows not properly caulked allowing air in. Avoid oak parks.
