Property changed management within the last year and things have continued to go downhill. Landscaping is completely bare in many places, there is nothing but mud in the area near our unit and it floods every time it rains. The water then stands there for hours or days. The plants and areas that do grow are allowed to overgrow before trimming.
The maintenance crew is wonderful, but you can only put so much lipstick on a pig. The units are outdated and A/C units are especially outdated. There is
...only one thermostat per unit, so the temperature differential between the 2nd and 3rd floors espcially is stark. During the winter, all the heat rises to the 3rd floor and it is unbearable up there. The A/C units are also extremely loud and grouped together, so during the summer, you can hear the A/C units whirring loudly. Our A/C has not broken, but I know many neighbors have.
Security and safety is questionable. Garages are tight to fit anything besides 2 sedans. There is ample parking in an alley out back, but my SUV was stolen. The complex has not installed security cameras despite repeated incidents. Further, the pedestrian gates and car gates are repeatedly broken and therefore either do not work or are just left open.
On the surface, during a walkthrough, this may seem like a great place to live. However, the leasing office is not very responsive or competent and the cracks start to show quickly.
