Worst move-in and Move out experience

I moved into Preston View in 2021, and the experience started with chaos. My approved 1BHK was suddenly withdrawn due to “maintenance issues,” and I was forced into a higher-priced unit with only two days left to move. Despite being labeled “renovated,” the countertop was scratched and the carpet wasn’t new, all of which I documented in the move-in condition form.

trash—while services declined. Packages were misdelivered, internet outages affected the whole community, trash wasn’t picked up consistently, and amenities like the pool and gym were poorly maintained. Maintenance requests often took a week or more.
I decided to leave after another issue: their leasing system wouldn’t allow us to apply using the same email address. Even though we received confirmation that our lease transfer was signed and fees paid, their system marked it incomplete, causing us to lose the unit.
After moving out, I was charged over $600, including fees for countertop scratches I had already reported. Only then did I learn that management doesn’t maintain prior or current condition forms, leaving residents vulnerable to unfair charges unless they keep their own proof.
