Poorly staffed with old infrastructure

?Under the current management, this community has shifted entirely toward maximizing profit while neglecting resident satisfaction. I cannot recommend moving here for several key reasons:
?Unjustified Rent Increases: Renewal rates are jumping by $150/month, which is entirely unreasonable given the aging property design. To justify higher prices on their website, they hastily added un-lockable fences to select units, calling them "private lawns"—even though anyone can walk in at ...
any time.
?Mandatory $80 Internet Fee: Management forced a bulk contract with Spectrum on all residents. They are likely paying wholesale prices while forcing us to pay a premium $80 retail rate for a service we should be allowed to choose independently. If the internet goes down, they claim it's not their problem, proving this was purely a cash grab.
?Closed Amenities: One of the two pools is almost always closed. Even now, during the peak of summer, it is shut down. Last summer, the second pool was closed most of the time, and recently, both were closed simultaneously. Furthermore, the gym is neglected; the leg machine has been broken for months, the TV remote is missing, and the equipment is outdated.
?Removing Conveniences: The community room printer used to be free for the first three pages, then 50¢ per page. When it broke, instead of fixing it, management removed it entirely to save pennies. Other communities in the area manage to keep this basic amenity.
?Passive Management: There are ongoing issues with dog litter and children playing unsafely in the parking lot. Management's only response is to send out generic, ineffective emails rather than taking real action.
?Valet Trash Failures: Despite strict rules about when to put trash out, garbage is frequently left sitting uncollected for days.
?Summary: This property has become too commercialized. The steep price tag does not match the outdated property, broken amenities, and poor service.

I’m experiencing significant issues with my apartment. After submitting a repair request, I received an email saying the repairs were completed, but when I checked, nothing had been done. Additionally, I've been struggling with a cockroach infestation. Despite submitting multiple pest control requests over the past few months, the problem has only worsened.

Each time you submitted a request for pest control, your unit was placed on the pest control list, and the issue was treated accordingly. However, as the infestation escalated, a more intensive treatment was required, which we scheduled and notified you about with ample time to prepare for the necessary cleanout. Unfortunately, when the exterminator arrived to perform the treatment, entry was denied, and we were informed that you preferred the unit not be treated until after you moved out. We want to clarify that you were not charged for the pest treatment itself, but rather a trip fee, as this change was not previously discussed. We strongly advised allowing the treatment to be done immediately, as delaying it would only make it more difficult to control the issue, potentially ...

We had an issue with our apartment, and we’re really happy with how Charlise, the leasing agent, and Lyndsay, the apartment manager, handled our concerns. They listened, were courteous and professional/ didn’t give excuses or expect us to “just live with the problem”. Charlise was particularly helpful, and took it upon herself to make sure we were satisfied that everything had been “made right”. Very pleased with our apartment at Preston View.

Instead they are requiring you to hire an outside service or it gets sent to local post office (which is only open M-F during regular working hours, so you either take vacation time or items get returned to sender in 7 days!).
