Great apartment, scary entrance
May 27, 2026 - Reseña de Apartments.comThe apartments, grounds, and amenities are all amazing. Any problems I report for maintenance are quickly dealt with, and the staff are all great people. If you work to the West and don't ever want to go Northeast then this is a genuinely amazing place. The only issue is the intersection of Butler and Adams, which feels like a deathtrap. Adams is a busy main road now, despite being built as a country backroad for low traffic. Turning left from Butler onto Adams might as well be impossible ...from 7am to 9pm with all the openings you'll find. Turning left from Adams onto Butler is a lottorey where you gamble that every speeding commuter behind you has the reaction time to swerve around your helplessly waiting car long enough for you to sneak through the traffic coming from The Village and Rochester. Speaking of, try out Kruse and Muer while you're in the area. Great restaurant. Just take the long way there, it'll probably be faster anyway.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded

The pool is CLOSED!
May 24, 2024 - Reseña de Apartments.comThey have been renovating the pool for months (as they are flush with cash due to exorbitant rent increases of almost $200 a month), and this week, the week they usually open it, they announce the pool WILL NOT be opening for the summer. Of course thwy would wait until the very last minute to drop this on everyone so that it wouldn't affect lease renewals. It was clearly a calculated move by mangament and had i known this I would not have renewed. Other than the awesome maintenance staff, the ...pool is the only amenity worth anything at this place. Even though they keep pouring money into lackluster amenities to try and market themselves as "luxury" to try and compete with the brand new apartments down the road.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded

We pride ourselves on all of our amenities as they are unmatched in our area. We are happy to have you with us for another year so you can enjoy the completed renovations, our recently updated fitness center with top-of-the-line Peloton equipment, pet park, community garden, and many others!

Super clean and best maintenance

What I call home

Due to my school and job, I've had the chance to rent many different properties before, but this by far was something truly special. From the spacious apartment, beautiful complex filled with amenities, and professional staff that is always available, it truly makes me sad to leave this place behind and move once more due to work reasons. Abundance of Nature can’t absorb the noise of the Drivers

With curvy roads boarded by water-lands & trees that are grandchildren of the ones planted on the estate of Matilda Wilson Dodge many decades ago, it is beguilingly attractive & comforting to residents. When I arrived here in January of 2010, the rules & policies were attended to scrupulously! My first Spring I was admonished twice in one week because I cleaned the patio furniture on the grass before placing on the patio! While I was irritated ...because I could not manage to complete it in one day, it certainly sealed in my mind their expectations. Obviously, I have found a good home. My professional training in horticulture cause me to disagree with landscape decisions occasionally, but I am grateful for the opportunity to lend my own touches to theirs. The serenely quiet atmosphere has been destroyed for several years by a few tenants with muscle cars & motorcycles. Their exuberance can’t be contained & reving the motor routinely pierces the sound barrier daily, whether night or day & it’s worse on weekends. After a complaint, I realized that one of the responsible parties is aware of my concern & when passing my apartment, actually make the sound worse! I have often said this community is remarkable for numerous reasons. With an open attitude toward exchange of ideas & cooperation, River Oaks can become as notable as is the OPC in the tri-community! & nationally! The staff is very courteous & cooperative.The cultural variety of newcomers challenges both the staff & neighbors but also brings new opportunities for friendship. River Oaks is safe, conveniently located, the response for maintenance is outstanding even though the aging buildings need to be renovated.
