Not every until have a ceiling fan, heads up! Also we had issues with the carpet separating from the floor transition strip in the living room to the kitchen. It started within a few weeks of being there. Also, I informed them that I had a cat allergy and the previous renters had a cat. They said they had the carpets cleaned twice, not sure if they were. I noticed I was having breathing issues and couldn’t figure out why. After a while we popped off the heat register covers and they were FULL of
...cat hair and crumbs and dead bugs and hair ties and god knows what else. If you rent here be sure to check the registers and either request they be cleaned or clean them yourself right away. Took me 2 hours to do all the rooms and I just vacuumed them like crazy and that helped! Also not much sound insulation from upstairs neighbors. Could hear them walking around, their dog doing Zoomies, their tv every night, and some “knocking on the wall” in the bedroom. Also, they would fight a lot and we could actually make out the entire conversation when they yelled! We did like the neighborhood and all the green spaces and the fact that it is dog friendly with a leash. Just note there is no off leash area for dogs on the premises. There is a dog park about 10 minutes away though. Thankfully we weren’t charged a ton for breaking our lease and we did get the security deposit back.
