Disappointed in management
August 7, 2025It is obvious to me and other neighbors that the management at River Park Place is extremely lazy and unwilling to work with residents in the slightest. I have noticed a "hands-tied" attitude, really leaving me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I brought up several issues to management, and it seems to me they just want to do as little work as possible. There have been multiple times when it has been so difficult to communicate that I had to walk down to the leasing office to have things handled, ...where I was then misled by Crystal about the dog policies. Nice apartment. Not great/accurate finishes
July 22, 2022Not every until have a ceiling fan, heads up! Also we had issues with the carpet separating from the floor transition strip in the living room to the kitchen. It started within a few weeks of being there. Also, I informed them that I had a cat allergy and the previous renters had a cat. They said they had the carpets cleaned twice, not sure if they were. I noticed I was having breathing issues and couldn’t figure out why. After a while we popped off the heat register covers and they were FULL of ...cat hair and crumbs and dead bugs and hair ties and god knows what else. If you rent here be sure to check the registers and either request they be cleaned or clean them yourself right away. Took me 2 hours to do all the rooms and I just vacuumed them like crazy and that helped! Also not much sound insulation from upstairs neighbors. Could hear them walking around, their dog doing Zoomies, their tv every night, and some “knocking on the wall” in the bedroom. Also, they would fight a lot and we could actually make out the entire conversation when they yelled! We did like the neighborhood and all the green spaces and the fact that it is dog friendly with a leash. Just note there is no off leash area for dogs on the premises. Kept up nicely
August 20, 2015Overall a nice, quiet place to live. Apartments are older, but are well-maintained. Maintenance issues I've had have been resolved in 1-2 days. Heat and water included. Cats/dogs permitted in some buildings. They provide steam carpet cleaning each time you renew your lease which was a pleasant surprise. The one bedroom apartment style (which I rent) has huge closet spaces and the open kitchen/dining/living room makes the space large and comfy. Stove and fridge were new in my unit.
