Beware

Renter Beware
January 16, 2024For years, this was a wonderful place to live. For the past two, however, it has REALLY gone downhill. Gate hasn't worked in over a year. A non-working gate is usually the first sign that a community is no longer a good place to live. The pool was unusable for most of the past two summers. There seems to be no screening of new residents and with all of the crime experienced (break ins, etc.) in the complex, it is nearly impossible to tell if the person walking toward you in the parking lot is ...your new neighbor or a mugger. Rent went up 40% a couple of years ago when it was still a good place and there was a waiting list for a unit, now there are tons of units available - long term residents are leaving left and right. Health threatening maintenance issues are ignored and management is full of promises about things that affect health and safety that they never fulfill. It was fine
July 8, 2022Lived in the same apartment for about 5 years. We needed the apartment for just a few more months after our lease was up then we were leaving. They literally doubled the rent when we only needed the apartment for 5 months more. Had to move out. Place was nice but left a bad feeling when we left.Property Manager Responded

Uncertainty
October 8, 2020Beware. They have switched owners 3 times this year. I’ve been here for 2 years and for the first time the gates have been broken for going o. 2 months now and they have no clue when they will be repaired. This is usually a sign of an Apt Complex going down hill. With the amount of rent they charge, you expect everything to work properly. The new owners may just be terrible.Property Manager Responded

Poor front desk staff service/attitude
October 29, 2019I visited this place on Friday (10/25/19) to look in the possibility of renting an apartment (either 2 or 3 bedrooms). This was around 1pm. Prior to the visit, I had heard good things about Riverstone and so my expectations were quite high. How wrong I was! The lady at the front desk wasn't even interested in engaging with me in any conversation. She outrightly and dismissively told me that they are fully occupied and she had errands she was running to attend to. She didn't even bother to ask ...me when I intended to move in, etc. Surprisingly (and annoyingly), apartments.com shows that there are several available 2 bedroomed apartments in this place. I feel as if she profiled me from the way I was dressed and assumed that I am from the ghetto. How wrong she was! In other places I visited I was treated with a lot of respect and patience and they made me feel that they wanted me to be part of their community. Wonderful place to live.
March 29, 2019I've been at the apartment since 2014. I started out in a two bedroom that was way more space than what I needed. I had issues with the grandmother with her grandchildren that lived about me all hours of the day. I was able to switch to a one bedroom apartment in a matter of a single email while I was out of the country. I have have no issues since. I recommend that if you are single or a couple, stay in the one bedrooms in the lower number apartments. There are no children in my building and all ...the adults are friendly but keep to themselves.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
September 3, 2015I have lived in this community since 2013 and have had nothing but great experiences with all of the staff. When my wife first saw the apartments interior she fell in love with them instantly. I remember the day we were viewing the apartments it started to rain while we were inside one. A maintenance man went and got his truck to pick us up. We really love the fact that this community is gated. When you have an issue with the apartment for example: light bulbs burn out or leaks. The maintenance ...workers are usually there within minutes to fix the problem. All of the units are very spacious for there size. The community located close to the riverside mall, and also located in the Springdale school district.
