These apartments have some good things. First, they allow all sizes of pets. The outside of the apartments are well kept, lots of large mature trees, plenty of grassy areas for kids and pets to play in.
However, with regard to my apartment, the inside of these apartments need a lot of work. I have lived here since November 2014 and in that time, I have had sewage back up in to my bathtubs, a massive water leak from the apartment upstairs of which I was told that there was no need to replace
...the drywall in the ceiling (even though it was soaked through) and there is black mold under the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. My dishwasher does not work (I use it as a dish drainer and do my dishes by hand) as it does not get the dishes clean, and in fact, will throw food particles onto the dishes. I pay extra to have an in apartment washer/dryer. It was installed into a closet and the dryer is sideways, so I have only 6 inches of space to put/pull my clothes in and out. My clothes also come out of my washer with a mildew smell.
I will not be renewing my lease, and have found a different apartment at this point-using apartments.com. I hate moving, but my apartment needs a complete renovation, especially considering the amount of rent I pay. I caution potential tenants to make sure they get to look at the apartment they are going to be renting prior to paying the monies. Some of the apartments have undergone renovation, however, I'm sure they increase the rent on these.
