Terrible Management/No Respect

I went on a trip to Arizona, returned on Sunday at 11 pm and parked my rental car in an open parking space next to the park. I woke up the next day to find out that my car had been towed at 4 am because it didn't have a visitors parking permit. My rental car was towed after 5 HOURS for not having a visitors permit, and I was left to pay the $400 impound fee. The manager and front office told me that those are the rules and they can tow after 5 minutes and that 5 cars had been towed last night. ...
Literally just like the scene out of the movie "Waiting" when the restaurant manager is waiting outside to tow customers who park in the employee parking space. I've never experienced such lack of respect and I wouldn't believe it unless it happened to me, this is where I live, and I park my rental car in an open space overnight after a long trip and it gets towed overnight? Really? Normally there are 48 or 72 hour rules, nope not here. I sincerely hope everyone in the office gets karma and gets a parking ticket for $500 for parking in a parking space 5 minutes too long, or a speeding ticket for going 3 mph over the speed limit and they can experience what it feels like to get nickel and dimed, $400 hurts. You lose good renters when you don't treat them with respect, unfortunately I am stuck here for 10 more months until my lease is up. I broke their parking rule, FOR 5 HOURS. Thank you for the $400 hardship.
Management does not respect you or value you, avoid if you can.

I am deeply disheartened to read your comments, and I sincerely apologize that you feel this way. We do not take these situations lightly, nor do we take any pleasure in seeing a resident's vehicle towed.
That said, residents are made aware through their lease agreement and parking addendum that all vehicles must be properly registered and display the required permit to avoid towing. As our community does not offer guest parking, these policies are in place to protect residents and help ensure that parking spaces remain available for authorized vehicles.
Unfortunately, we do not control when parking enforcement patrols the property. Their inspections occur at random times throughout the day and night, often in response to reports from residents regarding vehicles without permits. As we explained yesterday, whether a vehicle is parked without a permit for five minutes or several days, it may be subject to towing if enforcement happens to be on-site at that time.

vehicle was not singled out or targeted. It was towed because it did not display the required permit, and parking enforcement had no way of identifying it as an authorized resident vehicle.
While we truly understand your frustration and regret the inconvenience this has caused, we respectfully believe it is unfair to hold the community responsible when the established parking policy was not followed. We sincerely hope you will reconsider your review, as it reflects negatively on the community and team despite our consistent enforcement of policies designed to benefit all residents.
