February 18, 2026Staff needs to do a significant better job at communicating with residents. We have gone days without water due to a shutoff and we went a full 26 hours without a singular update from staff well after they said it would come back on and didn’tProperty Manager Responded

February 17, 2026I have been living at The Laurel for a year and a half. I think it is one of the better apartments for students to live in. The staff is friendly and courteous, and many issues are resolved promptly. The amenities and events are also fun. I wish the gym had a few more options, and maybe there would be a few more chargers or outlets for EVs. The noise has been better than when I first moved in, and I like how clean the place is.Property Manager Responded

February 7, 2026Overall, this is a good apartment complex. The location is great and makes daily life very convenient. The units are a good size, and the building feels safe. Maintenance usually gets the job done, though response times can vary. Management could be more organized and responsive, but they are generally polite. If you’re looking for a reasonably comfortable place to live in a good area, this is a solid option.Property Manager Responded

January 7, 2026I enjoy living here as a student. Management strives to create community by having events periodically, the location is great (close to school), and my unit is spacious and has all I need. I removed one star because we seem to run out of warm water after about 10 minutes of showering (although not always). Also, I have been woken up a handful of times by others running or yelling in the hallway and slamming doors loudly at night (which is not really management’s fault). There is a free shuttle ...that runs to both Upstate and SU which is very nice, but there were several times last year when it had maintenance issues or was randomly late/no show which was pretty inconvenient and required us to find an alternative ride to class or make the uphill trek and be late. Overall I would recommend The Laurel and am glad I chose to live here through school. The positives outweigh the negatives. I feel safe here and management has been extremely helpful any time I’ve had questions.Property Manager Responded

October 29, 2025Laurel is a great place to stay. The entire property is very clean and well-maintained, which makes it feel comfortable and welcoming. The staff are always friendly, professional, and quick to help with any concerns or questions. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and everything is kept in excellent condition. Overall, it’s a peaceful and well-cared-for community that shows attention to detail and pride in upkeep. All my roommates have come from varying backgrounds which has made for good conversations, I like the natural light that comes from the big window in the living, everything works (unlike my last apartment). October 15, 2025My experience while signing up for the leasing agreement was very seamless. Very good customer support, i love how they are available at all times to call. October 12, 2025I’ve been living in this apartment community for about a year now, and overall, my experience has been positive. The management team is responsive and friendly, always quick to address any maintenance requests or questions. The amenities are well-maintained, and I particularly enjoy the on-site gym and the communal outdoor spaces. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby shops. The neighbors are generally respectful, and the community feels safe and ...welcoming. Noise levels can vary depending on the time of day, but that’s to be expected in any apartment complex. I’ve had no major issues with parking or utilities, and the rent is competitive for the area. That said, there are occasional hiccups like slow responses during busy times or occasional repairs that take longer than expected.
