Love the community and fun activities each month! The gym is always kelp clean, I wish they offered protein bars or snacks in there. Anytime I need something fixed, it gets done immediately!

I love the Laurel's amenities, and the Shuttle service has been a lifesaver for Syracuse winter. I wish the rent were a little cheaper, but I am very happy with the staff and maintenance.

I absolutely love it here! I've been able to meet some really amazing people and have made great friends through the events. :) These events bring a sense of community, which is part of the reason why I would strongly recommend The Laurel to anyone.

Staff needs to do a significant better job at communicating with residents. We have gone days without water due to a shutoff and we went a full 26 hours without a singular update from staff well after they said it would come back on and didn’t

great apartment and location. but staff isn’t available 24/7. the managers are great, but regular staff isn’t as helpful. as long as you don’t need immediate help, it’s all good

I have been living at The Laurel for a year and a half. I think it is one of the better apartments for students to live in. The staff is friendly and courteous, and many issues are resolved promptly. The amenities and events are also fun. I wish the gym had a few more options, and maybe there would be a few more chargers or outlets for EVs. The noise has been better than when I first moved in, and I like how clean the place is.

Overall, this is a good apartment complex. The location is great and makes daily life very convenient. The units are a good size, and the building feels safe. Maintenance usually gets the job done, though response times can vary. Management could be more organized and responsive, but they are generally polite. If you’re looking for a reasonably comfortable place to live in a good area, this is a solid option.

I enjoy living here as a student. Management strives to create community by having events periodically, the location is great (close to school), and my unit is spacious and has all I need. I removed one star because we seem to run out of warm water after about 10 minutes of showering (although not always). Also, I have been woken up a handful of times by others running or yelling in the hallway and slamming doors loudly at night (which is not really management’s fault). There is a free shuttle ...
that runs to both Upstate and SU which is very nice, but there were several times last year when it had maintenance issues or was randomly late/no show which was pretty inconvenient and required us to find an alternative ride to class or make the uphill trek and be late. Overall I would recommend The Laurel and am glad I chose to live here through school. The positives outweigh the negatives. I feel safe here and management has been extremely helpful any time I’ve had questions.
