From that start this spring my wife and I immediately experienced issues. The unit was NOT cleaned before we moved in whatsoever. That carpets were so dirty and caked with animal hair and human hair it took me 3 days with a carpet shampooed to get them somewhat clean and to get rid of the odor of cigarettes and marijuana. They were so dirty in fact that your feet would be black in the bottom if you walked around with out socks. Shortly after move in we saw our first roach. Then we saw more and
...more and more and still see them to this day after bombing the apartment, treating the carpets and professional pest control coming out. The shower above us has leaked long and so many times the ceiling putty started to fall off and now theres black mold growing on the ceiling and wall. The maintenance man is a 1 man show that has to take care of multiple properties and is spread so thing sometimes things never even get fixed. Not his problem though, the management is poor at best and extremely rude. Theres also a huge hole in the dry wall behind the stove that's been covered with a piece of ply wood and 4 screws with gaps all around it which is probably where the bugs come from but I was told my corporate they "were not worried about it." Luckily were leaving January 31st and we couldnt be happier. My wife's car has been broken into twice and backed into once causing $3000 worth if damage and the fake cameras obviously didnt help me. If you're moving into unit 61, be prepared to also deal with nosey neighbors and all the noise you can stand. Do yourself a favor and dont live here.
