October 7, 2025I have lived here since FEB 2024 and I cannot be happier to be out. If you want a clean, quiet, enjoyable community to live in, Metro is not the place. Common areas are constantly littered with trash and pet droppings, and the lack of landscaping is depressing considering they are marketed as “luxury apartments”. The gates have worked MAYBE all of 2 months (not consistently) that I’ve been here. The pool is constantly closed. The leasing office is always difficult to deal with, as you get a ...different answer every time that you can actually get someone to talk to you. The apartments have paper thin walls and floors, and you are woken up by neighbors throwing parties and blaring music at 3am multiple times during the week. The placement of the complex is ideal, which is why it’s getting a star. April 23, 2024We lived at Metro for many years, long before The Battery was even built. There has been at least 4 different management companies during our time there with the current management being the absolute worst we have seen not only at Metro but any apartment complex. Anyone who has lived at this complex for a long time surely can attest to how much this management group has destroyed the essence at Metro. They are very money hungry, almost to an immoral level. When they first arrived, it was nearly ...time to renew our lease, they unapologetically raised rental prices upwards of $400+ without notice for my elderly mother who is in her mid 70s. I have never seen such an abrupt increase in my entire life. According to them, this was in line with the market value of the area. However, make no mistake, these apartments are very OLD and no improvements to the apartments were made to make them in any way comparable to the brand new complexes in the area. These increases caused many people to have to leave their homes. We were also shocked to read the new property manager’s first email to residents…it was cold, unwelcoming and threatened evictions. We have since moved from here and are so incredibly happy to be gone. It is not the same place we fell in love with so many years ago and we would now never recommend these apartments to anyone especially when there are so many brand new alternatives in the area. If you are considering this complex, just know that this management team does not care about its residents.Property Manager Responded

Don't move here
July 6, 2022DONT MOVE HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I have been here about 8 months and this was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. Office staff is IMPOSSIBLE to contact. I honestly don't think anyone is even in the office. We pay $25.00 a month for valet trash and they come maybe twice a week. If you have packages delivered here THEY WILL GET STOLEN. We have a locker room WITH LOCKERS for packages but they just throw all your items in a pile in the corner of the unlocked room that is open 24 ...hours. Free for thieves to just take all our stuff. And management could care less. Apartments are expensive but soooo not worth it. They are old. And appliances barely work.
