November 29, 2021Nice place, most of the other residents are nice, but some residents have the ears of the staff. If they want to make your life there bad, they'll make up lies and the staff will eat it up. Oh, and apparently they're looking to increase fees on you at any time is true. Poor management
June 4, 2021Don’t live here! They are over priced for apartments built in 1990s with fireplaces that don’t work, appliances 20years old plus, cabinets glued back together several times and no security for buildings. They have a 9pm curfew for guests, forget to call in cars while watching movie, they will tow at cost $250 for your guests! STAY AWAY!
November 10, 2018STAY AWAY - UNLESS YOU LOVE HANGING OUT WITH POTHEADS Moved in first week in August. Since then, have had a cloud of second hand pot smoke seeping into my apartment on almost a daily basis. It has gotten to the point where I can no longer use the front portion of my apartment (dining room and front bedroom) due to the residual and constantly replenishing stench of weed. The constant exposure to smoke has made both my daughter and I at times physically ill. The apartment owner has offered a ...transfer of apartments, but that in effect is punishing me (have to pack everything I just unpacked, and pay movers to haul everything to another apartment), and based on the apartment management's inability to enforce their own rules against drugs and smoking, there is no guarantee I won't experience the same issue in another of their apartments. Lake Villa PD told me its up to the apartment management to do something; the apartment management has thus far been unable or unwilling to do anything, other than inconvenience me. This place is not worth the rather large sum of money I pay every month. Do yourself a favor - look elsewhere, unless you enjoy sharing your home with the stoners.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Just Like Home
October 1, 2015The Sanctuary of Lake Villa, IL is much like living at home. The luxury apartments are immaculate, quiet and gives you a sense of being at home. The sceneries of trees and lakes are peaceful. The neighbors are friendly and their pets are too. The Management Team creates activities to keep the tenants informed and meeting each other to form a sense of community. Large apartments
December 7, 2013I've been living here for two years and just renewed my lease. The buildings and complex are well maintained. They even have working air fresheners in the hallways. The apartments have higher end finishes such as granite counters, six panel doors, white trim, 9' ceilings, AND large closets. If you like to decorate it's a designers dream. The large rooms sizes allow for larger size furniture pieces. I have a King bed with an large headboard and foot board, dresser-size end tables, and I can still ...fit a long bench of drawers on the opposing wall! The utilities are reasonable, but I will say the bedroom does get a little colder that rest of the unit because of all the windows. A trade-off for lots of natural light. I like to entertain and needed somewhere to store my special glassware/dishware. The laundry room in the one bedroom is large enough to fit a large wall unit that I use to store my extra serving dishes and table embellishments (plus storage boxes and my road bike!). The clubhouse is really upscale, too. Whenever I invite friends over to the pool, they always comment on how nice the clubhouse and pool area look. And the pool overlooks the wetlands...add some Caribbean music with an umbrella drink and you'll swear you're on vacation! Plus they leave it open until the weather gets too cool; not just until Labor Day. I like that management has various functions throughout the year which include FREE food and alcohol. A great way to meet the neighbors. I shopped around quite a bit before I renewed my lease and I couldn't find anything comparable for the price.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
