It has been a little more than a year since we moved into this apartment complex.
There are many things to complain but i will try to be concise as possible.
1. Nose, nose and NOSE - from upstairs and next door. Thru floors and walls. When you are in rooms you can hear anything like footsteps, sneezing, conversations, weird mechanical sound and moaning of a couple.
2. Mold in walk-in closet - one wall of the walk-in closet is adjacent to a shower booth of a master bathroom. We are fighting
...with mold in the closet, but the worst part is the smell of it filling both master bedroom and the closet.
3. Safety - One day after work i found the entrance door of our unit was open and the lock was damaged showing signs of a forced entry. Thank god that we were not home and did not have anything missing.
It is not difficult to come across front and rear entrance doors remained open on a garage level.
4. Internet connection - internet and cable tv are pre wired in this apartment and you get charged monthly for the service. It sounds fancy right? This means that you cannot have your own services. It is fine as long as it works as expected. BUT there has been too many times with internet problems of either slow speed or no connection at all.
At this moment i am writing this review with my phone, we do not have an internet connection at all and we do not have anybody to call to complain/resolve this issue after the leasing office hours. If You have a work to do over night and you need internet connection, you would have to run to 24 hour starbucks.
5. Foul smell from a garbage chute. If you happen to live in units close to a garbage chute, be prepared.
Sheffield, the Luxury apartment?
Yes the price is a luxury paying close to $2800 for two bedroom but Do not expect much.
It is not worth it period.
