I should have known better on move-in day (Sept 2019) when we found a live roach in the kitchen sink. I had roaches in my apartment for months, until it was finally cold outside, and they came back when it warmed up. I had to stomp on the floors before entering the kitchen, wear shoes constantly, and check under the toilet seat every time I needed to go. There is dog poop all over the ground, and I’ve never seen another resident clean up after their dog. There was actually a resident’s porch that
...was covered in dog poop from the time I moved in until I called the Health Department in February 2020. I figured it would be addressed when I moved in and saw it, but when it wasn’t six months later, I got sick of seeing it. Also, if you do move here or already live here, do NOT forget anything when you move out because they do not care what it is, they will just throw it away. I had to move out by myself, and I was so exhausted by the end of the last day that I forgot all of my coats in the coat closet. A lifetime of high quality coats, one of which my late grandfather had custom made that’s irreplaceable. I have worked in hotels/hospitality for over five years, and I always contact people when they leave things behind; I have never heard of such a thing as not taking 30 seconds to call and say hey you left ALL of your jackets here. No, they just said they put them in the trash compactor and they were gone. Couldnt even donate them to someone in need... I am so glad to be out of there.
