Paying hoa fees for what?

I want to make future and current residents aware of an issue with the pool at The Villas at Creekside.
According to the posted rules, the pool is only scheduled to be open from July 3 through September 7, and even then, it is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is extremely disappointing for a community amenity that residents help pay for. Most apartment and HOA community pools are open throughout the summer and operate daily, not just on weekends for ...
a few hours.
To make matters worse, residents have reported that the pool has not always opened on the date that management announced. Last year, some residents said it didn't open until July 4 despite the posted opening date, and security has reportedly arrived late to unlock the pool on multiple occasions.
Residents pay rent and HOA fees with the expectation that community amenities will be available as advertised. Restricting the pool to such limited hours during the hottest months of the year significantly reduces the value of that amenity.
I encourage the HOA and property management to reconsider this policy. Opening the pool earlier in the season, keeping it open seven days a week, and ensuring it opens on time each day would better serve the residents who pay to live here.
If having a pool that's open consistently throughout the summer is important to you, this is something you should know before choosing to live here. I hope management listens to its residents and makes changes that reflect the needs of the community.
But besides that happening the housing is pretty decent lots of cats though so be aware of allergies.
