    Lived here for almost 6 years and management has changed three times along with the owner of the property. I can never find parking when i get home from work. Everyone here has three cars or more and takes up all the parking. Our assigned parking is on the other side of the complex and after a 12 hour shift it’s a waste of time parking all the way over threre. For years i have been asking to change the spot since 90% of the car ports are empty because all the residents have the same issue and ...
    more then half the spots in this complex you have to pay to use them. I pay for a spot that is closer but have had many residents park there. I wait 45 minutes for the tow truck just for the people to move their car. Security on site told me they don’t enforce the parking because that’s what management said. Then we get random parking violations for being in our spots. The unit itself isn’t much better. Mold started to appear in the bathroom a month after we moved in and we were told by maintenance that the entire complex has it and all we can do is wipe it down. The cabinets are so old that the wood just breaks. Cat poop in the playground area because everyone lets their cats roam. My dog and small child has been in a few close calls because everyone thinks it’s ok to let their dogs off leash or tether them on a 10 foot rope by their apartment. Almost all the incidents were by the pool and playground. Dog poop everywhere even though their are dog bag areas. I tell management and they do nothing about it. They just lie saying it’s been turned over to the higher ups. Carpet near the restroom cut my wife's foot and maintenance didn’t do anything to fix the rug. We had to lay our bathroom rug over it to prevent our child from getting hurt. No manager on site for the last 2 months due to the change of ownership again.

  • Missing Amenities, Horrible Communication from Management, and MOLD

    In the year and a half I lived at UVG, the pool was contaminted and closed for half of the time, and the exercise room was under construction and not available the entire time. The neighborhood is not great, and there is nowhere you can safely walk to for necessities. On top of that, the management office never updates tenants as to when things will be open or usable. The online rent payment system stops working and nothing will be done to fix it. Dogs poop everywhere and all that will be done is ...
    a "please pick up after your pet," email spammed to the entire community. And don't get me started on the horrible mold issue...EVERYTHING molds at this place. The shower, the toilet, the walls, the clean dishes in your cupboard...all of my indoor plants started dying when I moved here from the mold issues, which I've never experienced anywhere else. I don't want to know what my lungs had to deal with living here. All maintenance will say is, "oh yeah, it's like that everywhere, just keep wiping it down..." lol. 0/10 would not recommend!

    This place is disgusting, I only lived here for a few months and it was completely and absolutely unbearable. First off there is trash.... everywhere... literally everywhere People just throw trash off their balcony every single day and no one cares! Dirty diapers , food, cigarettes, everything you can think of, it’s thrown all over the grounds. There’s people who blast music at 6 am and scream all day long, dog owners never pick up after themselves ever. Leash laws are completely unused around ...
    here and my poor little dog got bit by another dog whose owner wasn’t paying attention to their pet. The apartments are gross, the water from the shower smells like chlorine . The walls are painted over and over and over again. Just please don’t live here it’s absolutely awful. Save your money

    An absolutely terrible spot for residency. If you'd like to live in a location where the management doesn't respect you or talk to you like a human being, then welcome! I have never been treated with such a condescending tone or rude manner as I have with the management at this location. They won't take any of your concerns seriously and they will let you know that you're nothing but a money commodity to their business. I have witnessed them multiple times talking to their residents in a raised ...

On top of that, parking is super limited, drug deals happen at every corner of the complex, the walls are painted with mold, the outlets love to short out and stop working, onsite repair will try flirting you up more than fixing your problem, the management will lose your package (more than once!), and don't forget - you're not a respectable human being at this location.

    I lived in this apartment complex for 1 year and I witnessed several drug deals go down on the corner of Chaffee st. and the first entrance to the apartments. Also the maintenance staff stole over $400 from me while doing a monthly inspection with no repercussions from the managers what so ever. When I moved out they charged me almost $1000 for ridiculous things like bathtub resurfacing when there was absolutely no damage. They are after your money here because 95% of their tenants are section 8. ...
    If you are section 8 I assure you that there are better places to live and if you are paying full price for rent here you are being scammed. The majority of my neighbors were very confrontational, loud, and disrespectful. Also it is NOT safe if you have children or are a young woman. Be aware.

  • WORST EXPERIENCE BY FAR WITH MANAGEMENT

    When we first came to visit the property everything went smooth., Raquel was very nice and informative. We decided this would be our next home. When we came back the following day to leave the deposit, things became nightmare. The apt. that we wanted to rent was no longer available. We decided to go with the second option that was not as nice and did not have the upgrades for the same price. Still we filled out or application and paid our dues. The following day we receive a call from Raquel to ...
    let us know we needed to move in a week earlier in order to respect the promised price. I argued that was not what we were told, she tried to blame us for not paying attention to what she told us (despite us having a piece of paper with the promised price) Raquel turned extremely rude, stated "This wouldn't happened if I was not playing games" Referring to me coming back the following day to pay the deposit. At that point I was done with her and asked to speak with a manager. She stated she had no control over her manager and could not guarantee I would be called back the same day. Finally I was able to speak with "MARY" which only justified the price increase by saying "everyone makes mistakes" so there was nothing that would be able to be done about the price, however she would be able to respect my move-in date. She did also mention that I could back out of the deal if I wanted to and get my deposit back. However my application fee for $137 had already been paid. My roommates chose to back out of the place and get our money back. I was told by Mary that the application fees had not been charged. We picked up the check for the deposit. However I just found out my account has indeed been charged for the application fee as well. THIS PLACE WORKS IN DIRTY WAYS! BE CAREFUL!

    This property is a bit over-priced, the management is lacking in communication with the tenants, and like I said previously...the price of the rent is a tad bit high for the area that the property is located in. Many of the problems experienced in our apartment that fell under the responsibility of the owners were not taken taken care of.

    I have lived at these apartments for 2 years. There are four criteria by which I judge apartments: 1) rent; 2) cleanliness; 3) maintenance; and 4) customer service from management. Rent - rent is comprable to this area - perhaps a bit lower. I felt good about paying the amount of rent for what I got. Cleanliness: the aprtment complex was kept clean. The grounds, laundry room, pool area, office, and parking lot was well kept. Maintenance: Great service. Ihad to call maintenance twice: clogged ...
    sink and malfunctioning air conditioning unit. Maintenance took care of both issues within 24 hours. Management: management were very responsive. Great customer service. Provided fun activities for residents (ie. Barbeques on 4th of July, first day of summer activities, etc...)Six months and annual apartment checks were done. Neighborhood watch with reps from local police dept present to address concerns. Additionally, good access to market and gas stations. There was decent workout room available. My experience at Upland Village Green was really good.

    I have too say i am so grateful to the management at Upland Village Green. This is a family oriented place to live..They have a nice pool, spa, and weight room and are always doing things for the residents on each and every holiday.. I am very very happy here and plan to be here for along time lol. I love my apt it is so nice to have a place to call home. Thank You Upland Village Greens for giving me a nice place to call home......God Bless Debby
