I am currently a resident at Watercrest Apartments and decided this review is long overdue. I’ve been living here since March in a two bedroom apartment. My only major complaint would be about the parking and how careless they’ve been handling the situation. I’ve read previous reviews about how there has been security on premises to control the flow of non residents parking overnight but that isn’t entirely true. The only time I’ve witnessed security was during the two weekends of Coachella Fest
...and Stage Coach. Since then there has been a lack of available spaces. Management says they’ve been taking the proper steps in resolving the issue but seems to be administering temporary parking passes every weekend no questions asked. There’s no structure or control. The only spots that are available, if you’re lucky enough, are the “Future Resident” spots at the entryway of the property. However, if you park there overnight you have until 8:30am the following day to move your vehicle before management tows it at your own expense. I’m paying for a two bedroom apartment with the threat of having my own car towed when I’m unable to find a space to begin with. “They have a business to run” is their response. Besides the ridiculous lack of control with parking everything else seems to be fine. To all future residents looking for a new home make sure you have one car and not a lot of visitors.
