Privacy Matters
February 24, 2026I don’t write reviews lightly. But families deserve to know what they’re walking into. Our experience at Waterford Place felt targeted from the beginning. Repeated noise complaints were filed against us — complaints that responding police officers confirmed were unfounded. Reports were made showing there was no disturbance. Yet the accusations continued. Shortly after I posted a truthful review about one of those incidents, I began receiving harassing messages from someone connected to on-site ...staff. My private phone number — which is not public and had recently been changed — was somehow accessed. That alone should concern any resident who values privacy. We also raised concerns about mold in the unit. Instead of being met with urgency and professionalism, the situation escalated. What makes this especially painful is that my partner worked for Apartment Management Consultants for 2½ years. We know the training. We know the Fair Housing standards. We know how resident privacy is supposed to be protected. As a successful Black entrepreneur and a family-oriented household, I could not ignore the pattern. Being repeatedly accused of violations that did not occur, having law enforcement called despite no evidence, experiencing privacy breaches, and being treated with open hostility did not feel random. It felt personal. The leasing agent was familiar with us from a previous work location. Instead of that history creating professionalism, it appeared to create bias. No parent should feel uneasy in their own home. No child should grow up watching their family be treated unfairly. No resident — regardless of income, race, or background — should feel targeted. There were also serious concerns regarding how certain financial matters were handled during our tenancy and move-out. I strongly encourage future residents to document everything and review charges carefully. This was not a single misunderstanding. It was a pattern that interfered with our peace, privacy, and quiet enjoyment of our home. If you value safety, professionalism, and accountability, I would advise you to research carefully before signing a lease here. Beautiful Landscaping and Unique Floor Plans
June 8, 2025We toured this place last week and it was gorgeous! the pool is surrounded by huge trees some of which had ripe fruit that looked delicious! Landscaping was very well maintained and provided good privacy in windows and on balconies. We looked at 2 units and they were very spacious with beautiful renovations. Bathrooms were large and I loved the shelving in the showers, very convenient. The loft-style townhomes are so unique and give the unit a very open feel and having 2 private balconies is ...awesome! The office staff was friendly and the woman who gave us a tour was so kind and knowledgable!Property Manager Responded

Good place to be
June 1, 2021I lived here for about 3 years and was very happy with my place, the lush green areas outside, and the service. Dog friendly. I was always treated fairly and compassionately by the property managers and maintenance. Eventually I moved out only because my family expanded and I needed a bigger place with a different layout.Property Manager Responded

Not Luxury Apartments
November 1, 2019I have lived here for 4 years. Mold in bathroom and kitchen. Nothing ever got fixed. My apartment go flooded when I was out of town, never got fixed, I had to fix it. I called maintenance and nothing was ever done. Always raising the rent. Changed management so many times. Charge you for the tiniest thing. DO NOT MOVE HERE....... Rent will not change in a given lease period unless a resident is on a month-to-month lease. You'll find it is not uncommon in the multifamily housing industry for rent to increase slightly when renewing a lease agreement based on the current market trends in the area. NOT LUXURY APARTMENTS
July 4, 2019Do not move into this community!!! 12-8-18 we had to move into a unfinished apartment with some of the appliances not working. Far from being Luxury the doors handles looks like orginal hardware, paint on the handles, hair painted in the ceiling in the bathroom, more technician turn over than used car lot sales department. The lack of skill, professionalism and training is embarrassing. In the last 2 months we've had maintenance and outside vendors 5 to 6 times working on the Air conditioning ...system and it's still not working properly..... Stay away from WATERFORD PLACE LUXURY (NOT) APARTMENTS!!!!!! DEC 2019 CAN'T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH!!!!!Property Manager Responded

Horrible place to live
April 2, 2018Management is awful, making up their own rules. Luxury?. Luxury what?. I have a so called luxury apartment, with sinks that don't work, refrigerators with no ice maker, a washer/dryer that won't hold a standard load, ceilings that leak, and that was the first month!!. Nothing is ever fixed. If you smoke, don't move here. Even though it's not in the lease or posted anywhere on the property, you aren't allowed to smoke in your own apartment that you pay an exorbitant price for. The ...water/trash/sewer costs are three times the amount you would pay in a 4 bedroom home. June 24, 2016Living there was a great experience. the staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. units are very clean and the grounds are always kept up. the manager is professional and always available to answer any question I have. and if leave a voicemail she usually responds that same day if not the followng business day. Worst service!
April 28, 2016My lease is up within a couple months and I'm very glad!! We fell in love with the property and the apartments right away, there's no complains about that...the problem here are the people in the office. Since I moved in there's been a change of manager, I liked the old one better. Julissa the manager at the moment is very unprofessional, it might be personal but she's yelled at me over the phone, called me a liar all because I had a question and that was in front of the other employees. She ...doesn't know what the lease says but her excuses are always "it's on the lease" "it's the system, I can't do anything about it" but when it comes to proving it she falls short, I pay to live here and believe I deserve to be treated a better way since I have never been rude to her. Waterford Place is the Best Place I have ever lived!
October 21, 2015I just moved in here a week ago and they told me I was approved to live here within just 24 hours. The minute they showed me the model apartment, I KNEW I was finally "at HOME"...The new apartment manager, Julissa, and the assistant in the office, Renee', are not only very friendly, they are accommodating and professional as well. They said for me to let them know if I have issues with things that might need to be fixed. I did have issues: the air conditioner vent was leaking a little bit on ...the kitchen floor, the front door was hard to open and close, the bathroom sink faucet was very squeaky and the knobs were hard to turn to get the water going. Their maintenance man, Jose, was over to fix everything within less than 48 hours and he was very efficient, friendly and polite. The grounds are beautiful - waterfalls everywhere (near the pool and out front) as well as a water machine to fill up jugs of water. They have a great pool, open 24-hours/day, a racquetball court, pool tables and a workout room. They have a laundry room but I also have a washer/dryer in my own apartment. I have a fireplace, which I love, and my one-bedroom apartment is very spacious and has lot of storage and space in the closets. I have only met 2 people here so far but they seem very nice. Great apartment, horrid management.
September 8, 2015i absolutely loved living there. I adored the space and the fireplace, but when you needed stuff worked on maintenance took forever to get on it. Also I didn't trust them as soon as I got. Good look at them, they were nice but once when I was away at work they stole food and liquor from my refrigerator. I lived alone and I would know if stuff like that were gone. I'm a very kept person and when I see that someone left the freezer slightly open and my house seemed to be a bit more cluttered than ...usual I tend to worry. Then my neighbors, who are good friends of mine, had their unit flooded and the roof had a hole in it due to faulty work on the apartments fault. They didn't have it worked on for a month and then decided they were done with this complex. July 29, 2015My first years lease is up for renewal and i will sign on for another. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. My maintenance issues are addressed and corrected almost immediately. The staff and management are friendly and helpful. I feel safe here and there has been little to no drama with the other residents. Its very quiet, clean and well kept.Reseña de Apartments.com
