      OK repair but slow to get things fixed Placed a maintenance request for a toilet and shower that weren’t draining to the proper standard. Said it was a high priority instead of emergency but it took 2 days to get it fixed and they broke the drain stopper in the bath tub. I guess in the future I’d list everything as an emergency because going 2 days without your toilet or shower being fixed seems unreasonable. Thankfully I was out of town so it didn’t affect me.       Great office staff Our tour of the Westend community was led by an extremely helpful member of the office staff who was able to speak on her experiences as a current tenant of the community.       Needs improvement Multiple things that were marketed as improvements actually made quality of life worse. The parking switched to a paid app so now friends or family that visited had to pay to park, meanwhile the spots we paid for were often occupied by someone else who didn’t pay, and there was no way of getting them to move, so we had to pay for parking miles away and uber back. Terrible experience. On top of that, residents cannot rent more than one spot so even if I wanted to have a spot for ...
      people to come visit, there’s no option to do so. Then there’s the valet trash. Missed my apartment multiple times in a row even after emailing them about the issue and didn’t get resolved. Want to opt out and take out your own trash instead? Not even an option because they removed all the dumpster by the buildings and STILL make you pay a trash fee, on top of trash valet. Lastly, they removed everyone’s locks and installed “smart” locks everywhere. Sounds nice in theory to be able to unlock/lock your door remotely, but what if the door lock battery dies? What if you left your phone somewhere? Well now you’re locked out and “emergency maintenance” will take an hour minimum to get to you. So have fun waiting locked out of your apartment with nowhere to go because the leasing office is closed after most people get off work and all you can do is leave a voice message and hope someone answers in time. This place was great when I could take out my own trash right outside my building, didn’t have to deal with terrible parking, and actually get into my apartment whenever I wanted

      Calm. A lot of opportunities to engage with other residents. Assigned parking makes my life easier. My only complaints are the gym is small/has outdated machines. Or machines can often be broken. It’s also really unpleasant that dog owners will not pick up their dogs poop.

      Nice pool but management is going down hill I used to love living at this apartment but management is continually letting the community go down hill. They have outsourced parking at and trash to subcontractors that have increased expenses and provided poor service. Management requires residents to reach out to these companies to fix issues instead of holding them accountable. No refunds have been offered for the terrible service received.

      Frustrating level of non-professionalism Overall I was happy with the apartment complex until recently. The maintenance team has been very helpful. Unfortunately recently there have been numerous parking issues that were severely mishandled. First, the apartment complex staff sent out a communication that all cars needed to be moved in less than two days for parking lot service. Less than 2 days is not nearly an appropriate amount of notice. This resulted in numerous cars needing to be towed ...
      nearby and then retrieved. The staff I spoke to about this were immediately defensive and unapologetic. To address the issue of crowded parking, the solution is to force tenants to pay monthly for a parking spot. This is not in the lease agreement and also very frustrating, with some spots costing hundreds per month. This could have been implemented in a manner were tenants could reserve one spot without having to pay.

      Faucet fix I just wanted to check in regarding the faucet. It looks like the small screen filter that screws onto the end of the faucet is missing, so when the water is turned on halfway it sprays outward. You had mentioned that part would be ordered, so I was just checking to see if it has come in yet. If it has, you’re welcome to tape it to my front door. I can install it myself, it’s very easy.
