  • Do not move here

    Overall, I had a horrible experience living here. It is not a smoke free property by ANY means and the management does not do anything to address concerns. The prices are ridiculous and so many things were constantly broken. Not to mention cops were present at the building almost weekly, if not multiple times a week. You will not feel safe living here. Just don't do it.

  • DO NOT MOVE IN THERE

    Do not move in there, Smug from cigarette travels through the pipes. I could not stay there, every morning I would wake up smelling Cigarettes' and Marijuana. I provided my medical history of open heart surgery, and here is what i received from Stephanie: account in the amount of $8,841.63. for breaking the lease due losing job, and smug. Don't let them get on on the lease- you will end up paying over $8,000.00. These people don't care about people who live there. It's all about money!!! Run!

  • Not a Smoke-Free Property!

    I moved into these apartments in June and since September I have been facing second hand marijuana smoke from one of my neighbors. The building claims to be Smoke-free but please beware none of that is ever enforced. I have complained numerous times, with me being asked to move to a different apartment or have odor-eliminators installed which helped nothing. Not a single step was taken to find the culprit or stop him/her. Nobody is available to take calls or respond to email so I can show at the ...

I have been complaining since two months but it just all falls on deaf ears. Please beware if you have an issue, nobody is going to help you, they might just ask you to move to a different apartment!

    It is the worst service ever, they got my advance when moving IN and they hold almost 200, even after we gave the apartment clean. They refunded after fighting back with them on phone for 45 mins. Apart from that no one answers the call in the office.they ask for help from someone apparently her name is Laura, she asked me to wait and even after me waiting patiently, as she asked me to, she calls me and says that I'm disturbing her and I'm jumping the line. I never asked for anything. I ...
    mistakenly sent a package to this old address so I had to stop by to pick up and this was the treatment I get from them. I didn't expect any less from them as per my previous experiences.

    As a graduate student with minimal time dealing with the Yorktown staff members was a disaster and a headache. Their employees have a high turnover rate, and with roles changing constantly, everyone is unaware of issues or their responsibilities. For example, I physically handed the staff a cleaning receipt to the staff in the leasing office. They lost my paperwork and charged me $140 fee for something that was previously completed. They are sloppy and unprofessional. The trash shoots are ...
    overflowing, parking is always full even when you pay for a parking spot it is usually taken by a visitor, managers are disrespectful and the price of living does not match the quality of the apartment complex. Also, when I was living there, the main building had a flood and several floors of residents were forced to stay in hotel rooms for over a week! If you are looking for hassle free living and attentive, competent employees, look elsewhere.

    In all fairness, this apartment complex has gorgeous units and a pretty solid set of amenities but due to incredibly poor management I wouldn't under any circumstances recommend anyone to live here. In the year I lived here, I had problems with water under my floors, air ducts blowing in strange debris, unusual bugs in the hallways, and a lack of consistent hot water. Additionally, the key fob system used to enter the building was consistently inoperable, many inner doors had broken or ...
    insufficient hinges, and the parking garage entryway was often in a state of repair. There was even one weird month where there were homeless people living outside the parking garage elevators. Don't be fooled by lowered rent offers or one month free promotions. As they say, you get what you pay for.

    I have been living here for a year and I immensely regret choosing these apartments. Whenever I need something fixed, they just ignore my complaints or go around the problem instead of actually fixing it. I have black dust in my vents that fall into my home. I have water leaking into my bedroom all over the floor. I’ve complained many times, and what do they do? Put filters in my vents instead of ACTUALLY cleaning them. And the water is still appearing in my room, because no one has made an ...

    I have lived here for 1 year now in a newly renovated studio in the main high rise. The apartment itself is excellent. Brand new appliances and heating/cooling system. I have had minor maintenance issues but they always respond to requests within 2 days. The gym is very nice, with newer equipment. The building is dog friendly both large and small dogs. There is a nice area behind the building away from roads where dogs can run/play. Poop bags and garbage cans accessible. I have not had any ...
    problems with aggressive dogs or excessive barking. Parking garage is secure. Pool is small but clean. Campus is completely nonsmoking & well kept. Staff is very friendly and responds to requests/needs in timely manner. They also put on events/socials for residents including live music, drinks & food. Mail and package system is very secure. You will receive a text/email when you receive a package with a pass code to open the locker your package is in. I like this VERY much because I can order anything without the risk of it being delivered to wrong apartment or stolen. I only give 4 stars because 1. the apartments are very pricey & 2. a lot of renovations are going on & can be noisy during the daytime (but always between 8-5)
