Decent hole in the wall apartment

The building is a little older and undated with some features. However for the price range it is pretty great, includes water in the rent and hardwood floors throughout the apartment. Gated parking with assigned spots, tho the gate is currently broken at the moment. Main downside I've had while living here would be that during the summertime you will get the occasional horse fly and nasty roaches. There is an AC unit in the living room though but no heater in the apartment what so ever which ...

makes for an interesting cold "snap" LA winter. Would love to move but cannot afford to do so, till then making the best of the situation, cause it could be much worse. Not a bad place overall tho. Everyone keeps to themselves and I've had no problems with crime or people in the area and the best part its central to a variety of freeways including the 170, 5, 134, and the 101 all being 5 minutes down the road.
