Hidden gem
September 13, 2015A spacious two bedroom with a beautiful balcony in West LA. Has one nice sized bathroom. Large spacious closets to house everything you do and don't need. Apartment is on the second floor where the balcony overlooks the courtyard. Nice neighbors. Parking is in the back of the building. Apartment is within walking distance to delicious places to eat, bars and shops.Review from Apartments.com
West LA / Brentwood Bargain
August 14, 2015When I first rolled up to 1233 Barry Ave, I wasn't impressed. But when I looked at my bank account after paying that first rent check I sighed sweet relief at the fact I managed to rent a single room for less than a grand in this part of town. PROS: Extremely affordable. My friends are in awe at how I managed to find this place. Adjacent to 7/11 (can you say munchies?) Dog friendly (WOOF) 2 parking spots included?!?! Street parking is manageable and parking enforcement is ...lax CONS: -Building manager is not very responsive -Adjacent to 7/11 (riff raff likes to hang out in front of the unit/ DONT EAT THE HOT WINGS, trust me they've been sitting there all day and you will regret it) -Piping system is prone to leaksRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
