Renter Beware!
July 15, 2024Do yourself a favor and don't bother contacting this building. The owner is one of the worst you can ask for. Most tenants have to pay for a PO Box as our mailboxes are constantly broken into and unsafe. Owner will take his sweet time fixing anything, put in a maintenance request, who knows when it will get done. The owner will be sure to raise your rent though every year, no matter how bad the owner maintains the property. Manager is basically useless, just there on site to meet city ...requirements, does nothing for the property either.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Very Poor ownership/management and neighborhood not very safe
October 28, 2022Where do I start? I have had my identity stolen twice while living here due to our mailbox being broken open by thieves multiple times. My car has been broken into three times and had several items stolen. I just caught 4 men trying to steal the catalytic converter out of a Prius a couple of days ago. I have had many delivered packages stolen and will now have to pay for a mailbox somewhere so I can be sure my mail stays safe. The owner refuses to do anything to secure the building better or ...install video cameras, his solution, install fake cameras everyone knows are fake. Besides the dangerous neighborhood and the owners’ refusal to address it in any way, he is extremely cheap about repairs as well. He doesn't send licensed workers most of the time and uses his own cheap labor force. I went six days without a working shower because the owner had his unlicensed workers try to fix a plumbing issue and when Saturday came, before it was completed, since he didn't want to pay higher weekend wages told them to come back to finish the shower Monday leaving me an additional two days without a working shower. The workers are constantly coming in my apartment to address water leaks that have to be accessed through my apartment as well. Tenants in the building and neighboring buildings leave their trash on the sidewalk after moving out and the manager doesn't have it hauled away so the building looks ghetto with trash all over the sidewalk a lot. We were without a resident manager in the building for two months after our last manager retired which is illegal but par for the course for this owner. The current manager is either a family member or friend of the family and does absolutely nothing around the building. I once left trash on the front entrance to see how long it would take for it to be thrown away, two weeks later I realized it would be there forever unless I threw it out. I would tell anyone that is looking at this building, you will regret it if you decide to move to 15045 Magnolia Blvd.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
