When I moved into my apartment 15 months ago I was so excited! I had recently filed for divorce and I had been living with my daughter for almost 3 years.
My daughter used to live in this same apartment for several years. When the downstairs apart became available, she moved downstairs. I had prayed that I would be able to take this upstairs apartment because it was time for me to have my own place. I had already become comfortable with the complex.

was interesting to return after over 50 years. The upstairs apartment needed to undergo some renovations and my daughter refused to live through more.
The day that I did the walk through with the Property Manager was like a dream come true. The whole apartment was like brand new!
The bathroom tub/shower was new. The kitchen floor was new tiles. The floors in the living room and hallway had been replaced with new baseboards and there was carpet that was perfectly matched withe the wood floors.
I was a bit overwhelmed at how beautiful the apartment was. I felt so blessed to not only be finally moving into a place of my own after going through so many changes in my life, and also to see that it was redone so beautifully and it fit me and my style of decor was icing on the cake.
Six Flags Theme Park is right up the street from me, and I can see the 4th of July Fireworks Show they put on right from my balcony!
I am right across the freeway from all of the stores I frequent and the view from my outside patio at night is priceless! My youngest daughter secured a job right across the freeway doing what she absolutely loves and has already made Supervisor after 1 year. I feel right "at home" again on Valle Vista Ave.
