My first apartment in New York City
August 10, 2015I moved into this apartment in July 2013 and have exhausted my two years lease. I have had terrible experience in search of an apartment in New York City as refugee who just migrated to the United States. My apartment is on a forth floor with no elevator, few months after I moved in I discovered that it was not exactly what I had barging for. There was leaks from the apartment above me a couple of times that I have to place a bucket to drain the water out. I have a neibour who lives by the next ...apartment with very loud friends who are always drinking and making loud noises. The apartment is known for cracked heads and has no form of security to access who gets in and out. I have notified the super and the building management several times but yet notin seems to be done about this. I feel trapped and suck in this situation. Sometimes when I get home I find strangers sitting in the hallway smoking all sort of substances and I have become so frustrated and in need of a decent apartment to call my home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
