My apartment is old and I knew that going in so I knew there would be some issues. I was told if I put together a list of things I wanted fixed, they would be fixed. Not so much. There are things on my list they haven't even touched at all and one example is there is still a hole in the ceiling above my patio and a leak in the ceiling when you walk into the main bedroom that comes and goes even though they "fixed" it (when they fixed it, they scrapped the popcorn off the first visit and the ...
second visit they just added new popcorn but no real fix, just pretend).
There have been police issues in the neighborhood including a SWAT visit and just the other night, one of the residents fired off blank/fake (or so I'm told they are) rounds of a fully automatic rifle. I'm told he was drunk.
No gym, no car wash, the pool isn't too impressive, and parking is a pain as you're told you get a specific spot but they are not marked properly and no one cares anyway. So free-for-all first come first serve parking which can be a pain. Our unit did have a washer/dryer hook up but most units don't. There is a coin laundry room for those people.
The positives are the location and the size. It's on the river which is cool. It is in walking distance from bars and restaurants. And our 2 bed 2 bath is 1200 sq ft.
