April 21, 2025This property was once a fantastic place to live—largely due to the former manager, who went above and beyond to create a sense of community through resident events and building mixers. Since the change in management, however, the quality has declined significantly. Although the building is marketed as luxury, the reality is far from it. Only one of the two elevators has been operational for over three years, and the building’s security is severely lacking—mail and packages are frequently stolen ...due to unrestricted public access. Renovations appear rushed or poorly maintained, and the general upkeep of the property has noticeably deteriorated. The current property manager is unresponsive and has demonstrated serious lapses in professionalism. During an actual fire incident on the roof, he failed to show up, and there have been instances where he disclosed tenant information—such as apartment numbers and names—to strangers. Rather than enforcing building policies on noise and disturbances, he expects tenants to resolve such issues on their own, which undermines both safety and accountability. July 5, 2022Why is there no one available during office hours? The voicemail box is full and there’s no one to speak to. How is it that no one is available to receive a call from a possible tenant but it’s appointment visitation only, can’t imagine what trying to get in contact with maintenance looks like.Review from Apartments.com
Communication continues to lack
May 12, 2022I want to double down on a previous review by another person. Communication seems to have not gotten any better. Despite them listing apartments available, it seems impossible to get in contact with them. They don’t respond to emails, don’t allow walk ins, and calling during hours simply lets you know they are not available at the moment. August 16, 2021I really enjoy living at 20 park . The property is clean , well kept and my unit is super spacious for a studio . I love that I’m right at the heart of downtown Albany with everything easily accessible. The property manager Emely is super friendly and always responsive . If I have a maintenance issue she will take care of it within 24 hours or less. She really cares about the residents. Everyone living here is very friendly and we all hang out outside while walking our dogs. It’s a place to call ...home. Communication is lacking.
August 15, 2021I was very interested in this property a few months ago. I called more times than I can count, emailed, and even messaged them on instagram and I got no response. If they can’t even answer the phone for possible tenants, I can’t even imagine what their maintenance response is like.Review from Apartments.com
