A Great Building In An Up and Coming Neighborhood

We searched for a suitable apartment for months before stumbling upon this building. We were looking for something in the Culver City/Mid-City area, with 1-2 bedrooms, and a washer and dryer hookup. So when we walked in and saw this huge, bright 1 BR with 3 closets and an entire laundry room, we put in our application immediately. The neighborhood and tenants are extremely quiet, it's a less than 2 minute drive to the freeway, post office, and we're centrally located to DTLA, Santa Monica/Venice, ...
Mid-Wilshire/K-Town, and Baldwin Hills. 15 minutes to LAX. It's a dream!
The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because there have been several maintenance issues which is to be expected from an older building. The management company has always sent someone out within a few hours to address the issues so it's not a big deal. Lastly, the exterior could really use a facelift, even just a fresh coat of paint would do. The block is lined with really nice homes and apartment buildings and this one would benefit greatly from some exterior work.
