Great Location
February 13, 2025I love living here! I am so close to campus enough to enjoy my own space but still experience the college lifestyle. I can't wait for this snow to melt and the pool to open back up. Nasty living conditions
March 29, 2024If you value your health so not move here, as stated by others there is an extreme amount of mold and fungus growth throughout the walls/AC/pipes/faucets etc and the hallways are pretty gross too, sketchy people all over the place and all 3 dumpsters filled to the absolute brim and trash to the side of the dumpsters, not sure if the pool even functions, looked like there was stuff on the bottom of it and didn't really want to take a closer look because it probably is something nasty.Property Manager Responded

Excellent New Management
July 21, 2022I have lived in 21W apartments for 1.5 years and initially the management system was terrible. However in the past 4 weeks, as there has been a change in leadership, the new manager: Hector P has really shown a commitment and dedication to his tenants. I had a maintenance issue this week and within 1 day the manager was on it and got it fixed. Got to give the new manager credit for making room for a new and improved 21W.Review from Apartments.com
STAY AWAY!
February 15, 2022Trash everywhere constantly, leaky buildings, on-site washer dryers do not work. Every summer I lived here (3 summers) my AC went out and it took a minimum of 8 days to get out and fix. The toilet they installed in my unit wobbled until the day I moved out because they did not fasten it to the ground correctly. The dish washer in my unit did not work the entire 3.5yrs I lived there. Even after a couple of "fixes" they completed. I just stopped trying and accepted the fact I was ...destined to wash dishes by hand. Terrible paint jobs both inside and outside units. There were fleas in my unit before move in and had to get that taken care of, which of course took a week longer than it should have. Pet waste everywhere, even had a pile of what was hopefully dog crap outside my front door INSIDE the building for 2 weeks before somebody cleaned it up. They do not answer calls, so I could not notify them about it. For being a relatively safe part of town police were on site weekly for who knows what. I swear tenants had bad parking competitions because folks were contently double parked. Even in the stall I PAID FOR people would make it impossible for me to park there. And if all that wasn't enough, currently fighting to get any information about my security deposit. Considering a literal small claims lawsuit because living at 21W has been such an absolute hell. Staff does not answer emails or phone calls, and when you get lucky enough to get a real person on the phone you are met with malice and a shocking lack of decorum. August 6, 2020This apartment is not good at all. They are not good at answering the phone for emergencies, or at all even. Management gives you attitude if you ask for something to be fixed more than once. I currently have a whole in my bathroom ceiling and nobody has came out to fix it for almost a week now. Everything’s pretty cheap but not the worst i’ve seen!
November 4, 2019not the greatest but not too bad. everything is cheap in the apartments so don’t be surprised if things are easily damaged or broken. the vinyl flooring is starting to lift in corners and we have only been renting since June 2019 (it is now November 2019). windows and sliding door are drafty. towel hanger in bathroom falls apart and is coming out of the wall (has been since we moved in). shower head and knobs could use a LOT of deep cleaning that we simply do not have the proper chemicals for. ...outlets are loose so don’t be surprised when everything comes unplugged. walls are SUPER thin. security is very nice!! shuts down parties when they are disrupting others. no one checks the covered parking, so don’t waste your money. everyone parks their anyways. parking lots fill up very quickly so you have no choice but to park in covered parking. not awful for broke college kids. they do have a discount for wsu students. would recommend some kind of self defense whether that is a taser, gun, or pepper spray since it is a lower income area.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 12, 2019Maintenance requests are ignored, quiet hours are not enforced AT ALL, totaled vehicles permanently occupy limited parking, ground floors flood during heavy rain, laundry machines suck at cleaning clothes and they charge more than twice as much as other places. Nice, affordable place of living
July 7, 2018These apartments are a great place for college students and/or people with minimal income. The staff is friendly and helpful, always helping me when I needed it. Over the course of living there, the management has really worked hard to make it a better and safer place to live. Not consistent
June 16, 2018I talked to a gal who worked the weekend shift once who was extremely sweet and helped to show me around but I had to wait for the weekday to put in an app since she apparently was only a weekend part-timer. Came in that Monday to meet with someone who helped me get an app in and even gave me her direct email so I could email my app to her when I was done with it. I never received any contact after submitting my app—no call back, no reply, nothing. I called in later on to see if there were still ...openings and what happened to my app and I spoke to Stacy who was outright rude, she was disinterested in everything that I said and sounded like I was a nuisance for calling to inquire. She did not attempt to assist me in any way at all. I keep hearing mixed reviews about this place and wanted to give it a shot since it was less than 2min from my workplace as I am driving 1hr to work everyday currently and I thought the apartment size was perfect for me but now I’m wondering if it’s even worth it and maybe I should just keep looking for another place who actually wants my business.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
