problem with neighbors in the hall smoking from different floors. The windows are set in such a way to make hanging curtains a little difficult but doable. The super is extremely nice, and always willing to help, his son is very much the opposite. The son is aggressive and rude, but his father is so pleasant, and we almost never deal with the son so I do not mind. They only have one working washing machine and two dryers, and do to the amount of stay at home mothers it is almost impossible to get any chance to do laundry in the building. One elevator which is a little slow and lots of scratches and carvings in the door, but no real bad elements in the building so far. A one bedroom is very large, around 750 sqr feet with very high ceilings. In short, the building is not well maintained, but it is pleasant enough, close to all transportation, and large living space. You do need a car if you want to really do any grocery shopping. They do have some small grocery stores by the train station, but I am not a big fan of carrying that much for about 6 blocks. I am happy with the space, but I felt it would be a disservice to make it seem like it is amazing when it really isn't.
