I’ve moved here over a year ago and had to upgrade to a bigger apartment within the same building. Management made it so seamlessly easy and there’s great places to explore near the vecinity of the property. Also if you have pets is great for friendly companions.

This is a nice quiet complex in a great area. We have lived here for one year now, Debbie helped us move from our one bedroom unit into a bigger 2 bedroom unit and both units have been great. Very happy with our smooth move ins.

Great apartments in a safe and beautiful area. The loft is really nice, and there are plenty of good food options nearby. The management is also very helpful and friendly.

Apartments are generally new with nice amenities. Quiet and safe during the day and at night. South facing apartment with a shaded view. During the move-in walk through, some issues were found which management and maintenance quickly resolved. As far as a drawback, which has been mentioned on here (the train), you get used to it.

Living here nearly a year, no issues. Location is great. Building is right near train tracks and could possibly be bothersome for a light sleeper but not a huge issue for me personally. Really enjoyed my experience thus far at 301D, neighbors have been friendly.

Great location, near to the stadium and downtown. It was so easy to get around.

The train noise is fine, I knew what I was getting myself into moving right next to a track. But what’s not fine and what I didn’t know about, is the terrible soundproofing. I have woken up every night and early morning to my upstairs neighbors “stomping”- which is awful because I don’t think they are stomping at all. I think they’re just living their normal life and walking around their apartment, which they have every right to do. I just wish that it didn’t sound like the ceiling was gonna cave ...
in whenever them or their pets walk around. I am not even being dramatic when i say that this has really negatively impacted my sleep and my life; and I am a HEAVY sleeper!! I feel bad for anybody who moves in and is a normal or light sleeper. if you haven’t signed lease yet, I encourage you to keep looking. (huge bummer cause I think the lofts are so cute) this apartment is a good option if and only if you don’t value your sleep and wanna hate the person above you for existing.

If you're thinking about renting at 301 D Apartments in West Sacramento 301 D St please don't. I'm posting this because I really wish somebody warned me. I had a bad water leak and water damage in my unit. The place got soaked, started smelling nasty, and it turned into a long stressful situation. This should've been handled quick but it wasn't. I had to keep following up just to get basic answers and updates. The communication was weak and the whole thing felt shady. The leasing office and ...
management stayed with a passive aggressive attitude which made everything worse. At times it felt like they were trying to pressure me to stop asking questions. And once they felt like they did the bare minimum they stopped replying. Yes I got my refund check but when I asked for compensation for all the trouble and how the whole thing was handled they went quiet. No response just ghosted.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend renting here. If anything goes wrong you're going to be stressed dealing with them.

I have lost sleep for the past 2 months ever since I got a new neighbor who snores so loud that even a fan and music isn't enough. I can't really complain because the property managers can't really do anything about it.

Frequent train honking 24/7, multiple power outages, water heater malfunctioned, terribly thin walls, parking included in rent is on gravel, parking +$175 monthly is in a parking lot with a broken/open gate, said open gate allows homeless people to go into trash area. Hope this helps!
