January 6, 2026The building has smelled like garbage for nearly a year, with the 9th floor being the most severely affected. Ongoing backdrafts or blockages in the trash chute cause rancid odors to circulate through multiple floors, leaving the building smelling like rotting trash. This issue has significantly impacted my quality of life and how I feel about living here. I am aware of multiple residents and visitors who have noticed the stench as high as the 15th floor.Property Manager Responded

December 2, 2025Best apartment community in downtown Raleigh as of 2025! Very inclusive, extra clean, great management and leasing team, along with quick maintenance response times. The two lounges are always spotless thanks to the friendly and thorough cleaning team. The views from both lounges provide residents with extra living space for when they just want a little more room. The gym is the best gym we saw when touring 4 properties in DTR. Amazing state of the art equipment and always lots of privacy for ...individual workouts. The pool, when open, is a highlight of 400H as it is consistently kept clean and surrounding vegetation keeps the vibe homey. Overall, the views we have experienced inside of other residents apartments are just as stellar as our view. I believe every apartment has its own unique and gorgeous view. The BEST downtown Raleigh apartment community!
November 7, 2025Hands down the best place to live in downtown Raleigh! We spent around 14 months here and the team of Jacob, Sarena, Carrie, Lexiam and Michael were always incredible. One of our favorite things about 400H was the amazing concierge service. This team (Mia during the day time) was a huge part of our amazing experience as they communicated to us regarding packages, pet sitters, DoorDash deliveries and so much more. The community is so clean and the gym is also incredible for an apartment community. ...They also have electric chargers for cars which is really nice! I love the layout of my apartment, the light from my windows, and my balcony with the best sunset views of DT Raleigh. I haven't had many maitnenance issues, but the couple of times I've needed to call or put in a maintenance request they've been very responsive. From the very beginning, the leasing team was incredibly professional, helpful, and welcoming—they made the entire move-in process smooth and stress-free. It's clear they genuinely care about residents and take pride in their work. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and always spotless, from the lobby to the amenities to the hallways. You can tell the management and maintenance teams put in a lot of effort to keep everything looking its ...best. We are pleasantly surprised with the ease of moving from a large home into a smaller apartment home, and we realize that a lot of this ease of transition is due to the 400H Team here in downtown Raleigh. From Ashley to Jacob in marketing/leasing to Mia, YaYa, Chosen, and Thai in Concierge, we are made to feel so welcome, so appreciated, and so at home. It has only been a little more than 3 weeks since we ...officially moved in, and we feel at ease calling this home already. The cleaning team is a joy to interact with and every aspect of this building is immaculate. I never smell any type of cigarette, vape, or weed and I know that is because the management here enforces the non-smoking vibe. I use the gym and yoga studio almost every day and often times I have the place to myself. It is so well maintained and has state of the art equipment, great free weights, and TRX to keep me strong.
