August 14, 2024I’ve lived at 409 Manhattan since 2016. Over the past 2 years this place has gone down hill big. Most of this time there was no manager. Nobody to call to report maintenance issues. Garbages spilling over in courtyard. Rodents in courtyard. Dirty dirty pool I would never seim in. I see only one adult use it. She is brave. And they’re lazy. The rusted gate enclosung the pool. They’re psinting it rust. The new building manager is very rude and always scolding people. Then she gets mad if you reply ...and it’s not during office hours. This is my home, I pay good money to live herr, and now I’m uncomfortable to come home. I actually came to the site to find a new apartment. They do not care how many things break or the noise disturbances that go on for months. Management is completely absent. All the amenities are not really as they sound. Anything that does sound real is most often broken or neglected. I just cant take it here anymore.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
You deserve better.
August 26, 2020I lived in apt 2 at 409 S Manhattan Pl (owned by Cirrus Financial)for 6 years until May 2020. Paying sub-market rent in ktown with 2 parking spots in 700 sq ft was cool. Things that weren’t? Cheap ownership Shoddy repairs Cockroaches that came out of the plumbing The gross pink bathtub I regrouted myself Frequent bathroom leaks and recurring wall damage Horrible windows that would let in street dust and noise pollution Frequent water outages (2 during lockdown) Fake wood laminate floors that ...peel up If you’re paying below market rent to live here, that’s cool. Replace the laundry machines!
April 15, 2018I’ve been here 4 years and every other weekend I have to pack up my laundry and go to a laundromat about a mile away. The 2 washers and 2 dryers are ALWAYS broken. If you’re considering moving here, look for the closest laundromat beforehand and consider that trek. I should be at home right now making dinner, but instead I have time to leave this bad review while I wait for the wash cycle at a laundromat. :(Review from Apartments.com
