My wife and I have enjoyed calling 601 Bond home since moving here in late 2024. The location is a perfect balance of convenience and quiet as there are ample healthcare facilities nearby, I-96 is easily accessible to get around the rest of GR, and it's nestled far enough away from the immediate downtown, which is a quick 5-10 minute walk. The area is safe and generally quiet, and there are excellent ramen and coffee shops downstairs.
I can only speak to the Belknap apartment floorpan, but
...neither my nor I have had any complaints related to noise. The interiors (both the apartment unit itself and the common areas) are clean and well maintained, fellow building tenants seem to lean towards professionals who are respectful, and the management has done a superb job making sure this building remains smoke free. Although not many maintenance issues have come up since living here, maintenance has been quick to respond to them when they arise.
While the most recent negative review is correct on the garage door and treadmills being out, it neglects to note that the property management has consistently and timely communicated the reasons for the delays in repairs, which have been due to factors outside of their control (i.e., necessary parts to complete the repairs are delayed from suppliers), and that the management team has been very quick to put in place an appropriate remedy while the repairs are pending. Indeed, I’ve had no issues coming into and out of the garage since living here.
I would not hesitate to recommend 601 Bond as your next home!
