I live in a two bedroom apartment with my daughter, son-in-law, and two of my grandchildren. As you can imagine, this is the reason I am looking for a larger place. This apartment has a HUGE kitchen, I think it's about 12X12. There's plenty of room for an island, which we did. We also added an upright freezer with room to spare. wood, except the kitchen which is ceramic tile. I find wood floors so much easier to take care of. In the front of the building is a very nice grassy courtyard. My grandchildren love to play out there and I can keep an eye on them from the living room window. The entrance is off the street which is nice so you don't have to be bothered with all the street and foot traffic. From my apartment, I can see who is ringing my bell before I decide whether to buzz them in. That's another thing I like, the security. People can't just walk into the building unless they have a key to the Security Door. There is easy access to 3 major expressways, minutes away from one major airport (O'hare), shopping, shopping, shopping, and restaurants for whatever your taste buds desire. The police station and the fire station are a block away as well as the Public Library. Hopefully, I will find an apartment with all the perks this one has and more, particularly more bedrooms.
