The apartment where I live is one of the smaller complexes in contrast a lot of others. The complex consists of six units with two bedroom and two bathrooms which is a major plus when living with a roommate. The rent is at an affordable price that allows anyone to live comfortably and gives the choice of having a possibility. The location is walking distance to the Junior High, Senior High, and the Chico State University. There is also a playground for children and a Downtown area. At Downtown ...
there are restaurants ranging from sushi prepared on the spot to burgers with peanut butter. There are also the bars where you can play pool and enjoy a cold drink while hanging out with friends. Stores ranging from almost everything; clothing, bicycles, and even gaming laptops. Visit the Farmers Market on Thursdays that start in April and the Friday Night Concerts that begin in August. Enjoy the historical Bidwell Mansion that's right next to the University or go into the store called Bird in Hand on Broadway to find the largest functioning yo-yo standing at fifty inches high with a seventy-five foot long string. The apartment does not have a swimming pool but the location makes up for it by just being a bike ride away from Sycamore Pool in Bidwell Park. Walk a little down the bike path and go to the playground called Capre Acres where children can pretend to be sailing the seas in a pirate ship, a knight in the castle castle or a mouse on a piece of cheese. The city of Chico has accommodations for everyone whether it's a family or a new student coming to the University. Come to the city of trees where people of all walks of life call the home away from home.
