The area is family oriented, the subway (E & F) are about a 5-8 minute walk away from my front door the bus is about a 2 minute walk away. Nearby has many restaurants (Thai, Chinese, Sushi, Italian, Hispanic, take your pic). Queens Blvd and Union Turnpike are both within walking distance as well for more options. Parking is great in the area given that nobody parks in the area to then walk to the train, so all of the cars are owned by people who live there. My car is fairly large (long wheelbase full sized sedan) and I park on the street with no issue. Given the options in the neighborhood, it is an amazing bang for your buck considering most (about 90% IMO) will not give you all of this for such a comparable rent rate. I have never had letters or notices on my door or under my door from management and have never had bad situations while living here and I am going into my 2nd year of living here proudly. Anyone considering this building or any other apartment in the Briarwood area should jump on the opportunity providing financials are in place. Thanks for reading!
