Not My First Choice

Staff in main office not always friendly. I had several issues with the staff during my one year stay here. Several issues with my unit including flooding. Drawn in because of security of gated community yet could never count on the gates being used. Often had to park much further from my unit as there is no assigned parking meaning units can park as many cars as they like. Maintenance staff was always very friendly.

Highly recommend!

I am so incredibly sad to be leaving this complex. My boyfriend and I have lived here for two years and it crushes me to leave but we have decided to buy a home. For starters, the community is very quiet and the surrounding neighbors are lovely and respectable. The landscaping is ALWAYS clean, updated and tidy. Compared to other complexes I have seen, this one takes the cake on cleanliness. I really appreciate their efforts in keeping a clean atmosphere especially when many residents have dogs— ...
you would never even know. There is a lovely 1 mile path with lovely scenery and peacefulness. The pool is always clean as well but is a bit outdated for my liking. I CANNOT RAVE ABOUT THE MAINTENANCE and ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF ENOUGH!!! The maintenance men are absolutely AMAZING! Unfortunately when we first moved in, we had a lot of appliance issues (Ice machine stopped working, thermostat came off the wall, dryer broke, water heater leaked, dryer broke for a second time!) but every single time I called, the maintenance man was there in a matter of a few hours. Absolutely fantastic people and their service needs to be commended. If I called about something, the ladies in the office would return my calls almost immediately and find a solution. The landscapers in the summertime are never a disturbance or bother which I appreciate. I have lived in places where they come super early and run loud equipment and it can be quite obnoxious but I never experienced that with Albany Woods. The rent is one of the cheapest rents I’ve found in new albany and I’m surprised at its low rate for what great surface they provide. We lived on a ground level right near the club house, pool, and trash which was super convenient. We had hardwood floors and the updated kitchen countertop. I would recommend this complex to anyone who asked! I’m sad to go and I will miss all the lovely people!

Speeding cars
June 27, 2019
The cars are always speeding within the complex. They don’t slow down for children or dogs. Also you cannot get to trash on weekends as trucks from outside come in and dump truckloads of furniture and trash on Friday’s. Not sure how secure the gated community is. The whole trash area is inaccessible. The furnitures don’t even get moved for weeks.

Great place to live
September 27, 2015
Albany Woods is a great complex. Close to the high way. Great schools in the area for my kids. They always keep the place up to date. They have a recycling program that I love. The pool area is always fun for the whole family, music and games. They have a garden area when residents can plant their own flowers or vegetables. What more could you ask for? Nothing! It's just an all around great community.

Unlike any place I've been before

This is a quiet and relaxed environment outside and in. The common areas include a pool, basket ball, dog park and gardens. A walking path around the complex that has many open areas and a pond. The staff are always ready to help and if the is an issue its handled professionally and fast. Being a gated community has an added peace of mind for safety for both family and possessions. Just minuets from down town and two malls.

The Albany Woods community is great for young professionals! Great one and two bedroom apartments and town homes. I've lived in one of the town homes and it was very spacious. Currently live in a one bedroom and is wonderful as well. Full amenities and the biggest one for me, washer and dryers in unit! Great community events too! Love living here!
