DO NOT MOVE HERE
October 5, 2021I've been living at Abberly woods for a while now. It seemed nice from an initial walkthrough. Here's what you come to find out after months of living here. The walls are paper thin, so unless you're on the top floor, you'll hear every step your neighbors make. The gate has worked for maybe a month total since I've lived here. The complex is not safe or secure, as even when the gate is working, 4 other cars will follow you through when you swipe your key fob. You can't have guests over, EVER. ...Your apt number is given one guest pass. So if you have more than one guest, they can't park, and will get booted or towed. They say they have visitor spaces, but these are always full and cars will just park there permanently. Just don't move here, it's not worth it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Booting, rent spikes, poor quality
June 15, 2021Avoid living here if you want a pleasant experience. My parents' car was booted for parking outside my apartment for 10 minutes while they came inside at 8 pm on a Monday. $140 and almost two hours later to get the boot removed. Before I moved in all units were said to have included washer/dryer. Complex then said that was only certain units. It took multiple escalations and multiple screenshots of my application and their website showing that all units had included washer/dryer before they ...fixed their mistake. Poor gate management (exit gate always open and people recklessly drive through is to enter). 20-30% rent spike with no increase in quality.Property Manager Responded

August 25, 2017Not professional at I moved from newyork a week ago looking for apartments someone told to try auston woods I did I got approved for the apartment gave in all my paper work got one email to let me know what Else i needed I sent the other paper work still never got a email back about the apartment one thing I don't like is being used and played this company have to do a lot better in help people but I see already how they treat there tenants that is unacceptable I am so happy I went some where ...else and got the right service that I deserve you just lost a really good tenantProperty Manager Responded

Looks much better than it is
June 22, 2017Office staff is friendly but it's impossible to get anything done. Anything "on-call" is a joke, and the front gate is broken ALL of the time. Highly recommend one of the neighboring apartments for the area, they are a lot nicer.Property Manager Responded

Modern Spacious Apartments
September 28, 2015Auston Woods has some really great features - two clubhouses which means two fitness centers, lounge areas, and pools (although one pool is much more spacious than the other, it's still a nice option to have)! The floor layouts are great too, especially if you have two young adult roommates. We both have spacious closets and bathrooms which was a big deal for us when looking at floor plans. Everything is very modern and clean at a reasonable price. The best though is the costumer service - the ...employees are so incredibly helpful and all of my work orders were done by the next day at the latest. As an example, I ordered a big screen tv which was delivered to the front desk. They not only helped me carry it to my car but they also carried inside my apartment for me (and I live on the second floor). They take the time to remember you, too - within a month they knew me by name. I've never had such great experiences with landlords before. The only thing that bothers me is the front gate. If they had a system with a garage door type of button instead of the key fob it would be perfect. But I always feel safe so that's a plus. Auston Woods
September 23, 2015I love living here in Auston Woods. This apartment complex is located in the Northlake area in Charlotte, NC and is right up the street from Northlake mall and Northlake shopping center. You have everything you could possibly need not even a mile from your apartment!! I also would like to add the fact that it is a GATED community, there is an on-duty police officer, and the leasing staff are quite friendly and are always willing to keep you happy and make sure all of your needs as a resident are ...met. A few features that are not common in other apartments around the area are large garden-style tubs in the bathroom, washer and dryer INCLUDED, large chef-style kitchens, walk-in closet and huge balconies!!! Excellent Apartments at Auston Woods
September 15, 2015We have a wonderful apartment in a gated community. It is well maintained and staff our friendly and quick to correct any problems you may have. We have to clubhouses and pools. Austin Woods has many activities planned throughout the year to allow residents to come together and have a good time. I would recommend Auston Woods to anyone coming to live in the Charlotte area. A great place to start out or raise a family. It is also close to many great shopping place and restaurants.Review from Apartments.com

August 12, 2015Auston Woods Apartments in Charlotte, NC. This is the first apartment complex that I have lived in since moving from home. Everything about the property is great. Every time I go to the front office I am greeted with a smile and with helpful advice. I would and have recommended this property to many people. Happy with my community
August 10, 2015My family and I have lived her for almost 3 1/2 years. We love this apartment complex. The customer service is great overall. There has been minor issues with maintenance delays, but the staff works really hard to rectify any issues that their residents may have. Being a college student, it has been helpful to utilize the business center and the front office has helped with any fax or scanning needs I may need for school or just in general. It has been a good run living here, thus far.Review from Apartments.com
A place to hang your hat
August 8, 2015Everything is nice here even if I don't take advantage of all of the amenities. The common areas are well maintained and staff incredibly helpful. I would wish for a trash pick up service, so I don't have to see the mess at the gate whenever that dumpster breaks down.Review from Apartments.com
