Terrible place to live
December 4, 2024TL;DR Do not move here. As someone that works from home, I had to move out before renewing my lease. The neighbors on all sides of me were absolutely chaotic. I probably called the office over 100 times as well as the police and fire department. Take your money elsewhere if you value your peace of mind.Property Manager Responded

Pests
September 23, 2023My family and I have been bit by spiders when I told management they said I had to pay $200.00 to have my home sprayed. We already had giant roaches, that were even crawling on the outside of the building setting off my Ring camera. They later conducted a pest control inspection of the apts. near me. They found a apt. where the person had moved out early and since we had roaches he was not there to kill them the numbers grew to alot!! The next apt. had bedbugs which had spread to my apartment. ...Walls are super thin. Why even have walls you can hear TV's,music and people talking. Hope you are not a lite sleeper. Roses/Walmart shopping carts left in the parking lot makes the place look real classy. The tenants put trash on the back of the car and ride it to the dumpster and it always falls off and they just leave it in the road. It's like living in a trash dump.Property Manager Responded

This crap hole
May 2, 2018They say they don't rent to college students. That's a darn lie. I'm sitting here in my car looking for parking because these idiots in the leasing office decided to rent the pool area to college students. They took up handicap parking and any parking near my building. But yet we are too dumb to give assigned parking. This makes no sense that I need to call the police just to get the noise to stop so I can go to sleep and get ready for another work day.Property Manager Responded

Horrible experience
January 29, 2018I moved my mother into this place temporarily before we bought our first home. The maintenance men were always so pleasant and helpful but the office workers were unskilled, unprofessional and very rude. I promise I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. They never took our complaints seriously, overcharged, and took advantage of my elderly mother. She never got a restful night sleep because the neighbors were so loud and the management did nothing to correct the issues. To make ...matters worse they took a majority of our deposit to replace carpet in the apartment which a flood encouraged due to faulty wiring in the laundry room from the neighbors above where she lived. Great place to live!

The leasing consultants Sydney & Rebecca were excellent from start to finish as well as the property manager its very rare that your able to speak with a property manager she is awesome as well as her Team! Awesome Place to live.
February 16, 2017Addison Crater Woods is an awesome calm place to live. So far the staff has been extremely helpful in particular Emily, Jasmine and Courtney who has been helping me put with everything since I was coming to Virginia from overseas. It's well located, close to fort lee about 9 minutes and has . About mins from southpark mall, 30 min from richmond. The apartment I picked has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen laundry room, two walking closets, coat closet, it came with dryer, washer, ...stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and much more.The heating and cooling system is great. The staff has been extremely helpful with the moving process. They accommodated their schedule to ours. They are very responsive to emails. Very loud
September 18, 2016While it's true this is the nicest apartment complex in Petersburg, it's really not saying much. My biggest complaint is the noise level. Cars come through and sit in the parking lot with their music so loud it rattles my windows. There is a claus in the lease stating you are to be quiet and courteous even while driving your car and if there are repeated complaints then you might be asked to move out, but the office staff could not do a worse job of enforcing this policy. People come home at all ...times of the night and just sit there in the parking lot blaring their music as loud as possible. There is a number to call for after hour noise complaints but the response is so slow that the problem often resolves itself before anyone ever shows up, if they do even show up that is. During business hours the office staff rarely answers the phone so your noise complaints during the day also go unanswered. The office staff overall are friendly, just hard to reach, but there are a few that unreasonable and inconsiderate to the point that I hate dealing with the office in general. Maintenance is slow to respond and the grounds aren't very well kept. Needs some help
July 26, 2016The overall place is ok. When you ask for a maintenance request you can expect to wait at least a week. very bad. we asked for something to be fixed and they said a contractor would have to come out after years of leaving there nothing was done. we tried calling and still nothing. upon moveout the team at the leasing offce DOES not know how to Communicate, yea we can do that i have you scheduled for this.. yea right nothing was done had to do everything over again. no i am not going to call ...and talk. i tried and all i got was im sorry thats not how it works.. Go somewhere else
March 18, 2016This place is a dump and they refuse to fix the place. They focus only on the newer more expensive apartment section. If you live in the older cheaper section you are treated as a second class citizen. We did not have hot water or a dishwasher for six months and they would not fix it. I would not recommend this place to anybody. You can buy a house for what you will pay in rent on this dump.Review from Apartments.com
